Tides on East Cactus

This apartment complex was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE to live in, and I would strongly urge anyone considering it to look elsewhere — especially if you value your health and safety. Let’s start with the air conditioning, which is practically a lifeline in Phoenix where summer temps soar to at least 115°F. The AC here would shut off randomly for days at a time (happened 3 consecutive summers,2022-2024, longest duration was 12 days), with zero communication from management. Residents were left to suffer in dangerous heat without any updates, portable units, or even basic concern. It was unbearable and potentially life-threatening. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I cannot wait to leave this place, the office is a revolving door of incompetent people. No one ever answers the phone, multiple times they have left us without AC/water. The washing machines now cost double what they used to be only a year ago. The laundry rooms are FILTHY. SEE PHOTOS. My rent has nearly doubled as well. Price gouging everywhere. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT HERE!!! STAY AWAY FROM TIDES. I know I will not get my deposit back since they are KNOWN to withhold security deposits unjustly. All of the 5 stars reviews are paid or from actual employees. They actually offered gift cards for good reviews. Do not be deceived, RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. Look for the automated response below. Know they won’t try to take real action.

Hi this is my second fall-winter stay at tides on cactus!! Very friendly comunity we have lock gates so it makes every one more safe ! Some how!!!!! The girls at the office are great !! Very helpfull, very strict too....but is there job , if people dont have de right documents to rent is just not going to happend!! Come join ! Anna and victoria will be there for us

The new management here is amazing. Victoria and Ana have turned this place around for the better to help us residents. They are always available and communicate accordingly on everything to do with the property. They are the reason I decided to sign another lease at Tides. If it weren’t for them staying on top of issues and making residents feel welcomed I would’ve moved somewhere else. Whatever Tides decides to do in the future make sure both of these ladies stick around. They deserve raises for the hard work they put in.

Honestly, I’m never the type of leave any type review but this Management has been so understanding and helpful towards me as this is my first time renting and things have been hard for me the past few months and they have been nothing less than understanding through anything honestly truly makes me feel safe and comfortable very much helped Navigating my early adulthood alone I really do recommend it here amazing complex!
