The Whittaker Apartments

My wife and I lived at Whittaker for five wonderful years before relocating for a new job. Even six months after moving, we still think of Whittaker as home, not our new place. We truly felt lucky to be part of such a great community with its unique and welcoming atmosphere. The management team is professional and responsive, maintenance service is excellent, and security is reliable and available 24/7 for emergencies. The location is unbeatable; multiple grocery stores, fitness centers, and restaurants are all within walking distance. The neighborhood is also one of the safest in Seattle, and taking walks around the area was one of the simple pleasures we’ll never forget. Plus, Alki Beach is less than 10 minutes away. Kay at the Whittaker was so helpful and kind while trying to get our son into an apartment as quickly as possible. answered all my questions and many phone calls trying to get things worked out, and before we had to leave. The building is great and seems very safe. Jessi was also very kind when we picked up the keys to move him in. We appreciate everyone's help.

I’ve had a fantastic experience living at The Whittaker! The location can’t be beat — everything I need is close by, from great restaurants to convenient shops. The building is always clean and well-maintained, which really makes it feel like home. A special shoutout to Naryia, the Resident Services Manager, who truly goes above and beyond. She’s always communicative, responsive, and eager to help with any issue or question I have. Her professionalism and genuine care make a huge difference in the overall living experience here. Overall, The Whittaker is an excellent place to live — comfortable, clean, and managed by a great team that really values its residents. Highly recommend!

I've really enjoyed my time living at The Whittaker! The leasing staff are incredibly friendly and always takes a moment to greet my dog, Daisy, which makes our day brighter. The gym is fantastic with a great variety of equipment. The staff are always quick to respond to any issues I might have. Of course, there are a few things to keep in mind. The rent has definitely gone up quite a bit in recent years, which seems to be a trend around here as new businesses pop up. I’ve also experienced the fire alarms going off a few times, and I think the common areas could use a little more attention when it comes to cleaning. It seems like the cleaning and maintenance teams might be a bit understaffed, and the fire alarm system can be a little too sensitive at times. Overall, though, it’s a lovely

Living here at the Whittaker has been a lovely experience. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I'm impressed with the cleanliness of the buildings. Also, important to me, is the quiet atmosphere. The proximity to the different services in the area is great. Applying and processing my tenancy was made easily with the help of my Leasing Agent, Jesse!
