The Westport Apartments

We have loved living here. The amenities and views are just top notch. It’s a newer building and facilities and it feels like the apartments are luxurious. With the homes being tucked away from the main road it almost feels like an oasis surrounded by water. We’ve always felt safe and it’s a very quiet neighborhood. Jenna and the maintenance team are so kind and good at their job. They respond to requests quickly and professionally. We really wouldn’t be leaving if it weren’t for my husbands job. We can’t recommend this location enough. Picture is from our 2nd floor sliding back doors at sunset.

Updated Review While we had a wonderful stay at this apartment, unfortunately, our experience after moving out has been deeply disappointing. It has been four months since we left, and we have yet to receive the remainder of our security deposit. We have repeatedly contacted the property manager to provide and confirm our forwarding address, but she has not responded or acknowledged our messages. We recently learned that the deposit was returned to them due to an incorrect forwarding address, but despite our efforts to resolve the issue, we are still waiting. The lack of communication frustrating. We hope this matter is resolved soon. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed our time living in this apartment. Just recently moved out after staying at the apartments for 1 year and I already miss it. My 1 bedroom apartment was spacious for a great price, Jenna (building management) was great/super sweet with any issues I had and the maintenance folk were nice and fast. The area was quiet with a great place by the dock/water to just sit and relax. They recently switched to valet garbage pickup which can sometimes make the apartment hallways stinky but I think they are changing that soon and going back to what it was before. Overall great place! Highly recommend!

Her responsiveness, helpfulness, and supportive nature made a significant difference. She addressed our needs immediately, always ensuring that our concerns were taken care of promptly. The management team's dedication to maintaining the building was evident. They were very attentive to cleanliness, safety, and the overall upkeep of the amenities. Regular inspections of the building ensured everything was in top condition. The amenities provided, like the clubhouse and gym, were of very high quality and added to the comfort of living here. Jenna is exceptional! She was very helpful and responded quickly to maintenance request or questions. It was very quiet, and I never felt unsafe. If we ever return to VA, I will reach out to Jenna, and if she’s still there, we may consider making the Westport our home again! Thanks Jenna!!!!
