The View at Lakeside

This is my daughter’s first apartment and Rhi and Nelly have made this transition so awesome for us!! Rhi has worked hard with us getting us the perfect apartment looking at the little lake it’s a beautiful property I feel like my little girl is safe here. There was a problem with the A/C when she first moved in and Nelly had someone there to fix it immediately. The leasing staff is amazing I am not sure of the other leasing ladies name but they are all so helpful and welcoming.. looking forward to The View being my babies new home!!

Since I moved in July this place has been nothing short but nasty and unsafe. When I moved in July I kept having defecate by my door, until I called the police and now all of sudden I don’t. Second interaction neighbors putting trash in my valet trash can that stayed in front of me, more than once(and blaiming it on a small 7year old son they said did it). Third interaction mentally ill neighbors that waited for me to get home from work to knock on my door to try to have a conversation(but would curse me out) expecting me to open my door. Mind you I never met these people. Fourth interaction, neighbor that stays in front of my pulling out sharp item on me and I later found out she was on probation and Nelly shared she was not even on the lease! Where would you like me start?! The View At Lakeside doesn’t even deserve a star. After relocating from another state let me say the website pictures are not the true reality of the grounds. In other to get a service request sufficiently repaired you have to report the problem multiple times and finally complain to get a resolution. They go through leasing agents like you go through toilet paper and their professionalism is equal to what you find on that toilet paper. The water smells like pure sewage straight FUNKY! It’s like living in the projects trash, dog droppings, and pot holes decorate the property. While bonnets, house shoes, and pajamas pants are the daily attire you’re greeted with. First., Let me just say I’ve never had a problem with the office. They’re the nicest team I’ve interacted with, unfortunately the problem I have are the roaches even after they spray, my neighbor is a hoarder so the roaches come back and never go away. I also had a neighbor’s pipes that broke and flooded in my walls so I had mold in my bathroom and they fixed it but the contractor left this huge hole in my bathroom and it took almost 3 months for them to finally come and fix it so I was out of a bathroom.( because the roaches were also coming through that big hole and up in the pipes too) I had to use my son‘s bathroom and they only fixed it because I went in crying because I was paying so much money for an apartment that I couldn’t even use the bathroom and had to use my sons and you woul

I normally don’t leave reviews, but future renters really need to be aware of what I experienced here. I originally lived in Building 11 for 12 months and had no major issues. Only issue I had was our building alarm would go off almost every day. I’m not someone who expects luxury standards, and there were normal flaws, but that building was quiet, clean, safe, and overall enjoyable for my son and I. I liked it enough to renew for another year. The problem started when I transferred to Building 2 on the opposite side of the complex. Within the first week I noticed how consistently dirty that building was. My neighbors would leave trash bags in the hall instead of in the bins, which attracts rats and raccoons.
