The Union on 28th Apartments

Only stayed for a year dealt with roaches the minute i moved in never in my life had roaches just barely got rid of them right before moving out they were everywhere. Ashely in the office is the only one I’d talk to who was very understanding new maintenance team is great. Glad it’s over! Great price but you get what you pay for unfortunately.

My experience at Union on 28th Dr has been disappointing overall. The apartment had a persistent roach problem that management never fully resolved. Our neighbors often had five to six people coming and going at all hours of the night, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or safe. When it rained, the entire complex smelled strongly of cat urine and feces due to the excessive number of stray cats on the property. In addition, management issued “final notices” for alleged violations without ever providing a first or second notice, and some of these “violations” were not even listed in the lease. There were numerous unexplained “utility fees” added to the rent each month, as well as a forced parcel box rental fee that carriers never actually used. Throughout our seven-month lease, we

DO NOT MOVE HERE. This new management (that we never notified of the change) is terrible. I get a noisy neighbor with 3 dogs AND 2 birds that piss on MY balcony, and put trash that leaks on theirs EVERYDAY. Which apparently I don’t even have the right to put patio furniture on?? (They tried to tell me it’s not a PRIVATE patio, so I can’t have ANYTHING on it, yet I pay for it in my rent??) it only connects to my apartment and I’ve had my patio furniture on it for 4 YEARS, but suddenly they want to charge me 100$ for having it where it’s been for 4 YEARS AND I have to remove it?? They’re constantly turning off water (I mean twice a week at least, using the WORST plumbing company) and half the maintenance staff is terrible, they don’t know what they’re doing or even saying and if you try to s

Pretty overall terrible place to live, you will have your water shut off for several days atleast once a month, experience fights on property, I’ve even had a gun pointed on at me for being a witness to an argument. Despite the lack of safety and water, those aren’t the only issues, after traveling several hundred miles to live here, they didn’t even give me my correct deposit amount, I was promised a unit with washer and dryer too(I didn’t get one), unfortunately the ones provided on property don’t work, and on top of that your neighbors will smoke meth on the property, Meth is able to be smoked on property, but if you leave a broom or bucket outside you will be fined, but if you leave trash for days that’s acceptable. moved from San Diego to Arizona had the hardest time getting in touch with anybody in the office for a very long time. I've only lived here for two months and it's been the worst experience ever. Ashley in the office is extremely rude, extremely unprofessional, and very amateur at her job. The manager will not help you out, has the worst attitude, and her response to everything is it's in the lease. The house is poorly maintenance like is this they did a very cheap job since the last people moved out. The showers are horrible the bathrooms are super small. They are constantly adding different fees to your rent it is the worst I cannot wait until my lease is up!! Done
