Do not move here. Roaches, water damage from covid, once you make maintenance tickets--maintenance tries to undermine what you are explaining and make excuses as to why your complaint isn't legit and you know why it is legit. Your complaints get ignored and they try and play with your intelligence if you let them.

One star for the staff being friendly. Unfortunately friendly doesn't get repairs done in a timely manner. My brand new dishwasher was broken as soon as i moved in. Never got to use it once, took then 4 months to repair finally used it for the 1st time this week. My ac has been broken since Thanksgiving day. Still waiting for it to be repaired. Every time its on it only lasts about 30 minutes to an hour before water starts pouring out from the ceiling. There's some kind of clog in the bathroom drains which they haven't fixed because they can't remove the covers. So sewerage water has just been sitting there for the last 4 months. I didn't even have a for extinguisher in my apartment but i found an expired one outside my apartment so i brought it in, i figure it's better than nothing. Ther

I have been living here for about six months now and have had zero issues. No bugs whatsoever, no theft, and the management here is very good. I think people worry about moving here because a couple years ago it was poorly run or so I am told. I would encourage you to come check it out before forming an opinion. The rent here is affordable and they will help you along with the process. There is a laundry facility and washer and dryer connections. The apartment has a nice little green area along the river and is located near the heart of town. People don’t really blast their music around here and I haven’t smelled a lot of cigarette smoke. I really like it here and I think you will too.

I have lived here for 21 years! In fact, I might be the oldest-residing tenant here at The Trails, formerly Creekside. I have been very happy living here. It is safe and clean and mostly very quiet. Landscaping is always carefully managed. I will admit that during the 'Aughts there was some crime/drug elements here, but that has dramatically changed for the better in the last five years. Staff is very attentive to all manner of problems you might have, and they take of it pronto. It is true that some of the residential rules seem to get bent by some tenants-- e.g. having non-patio furniture and general ugly storage on patios, and it took aeons for a pothole to be filled in the parking lot--- but other than these, I can't complain. Great place, near to the river and walking distance to Boerne, where you can shop , you can, walk on different trails Near to super high recommend restaurants, and if you enjoy a wonderful wine, well Boerne is your place.
