The Summit at Dobbs Ferry

My experience as a tenant at Summit Apartments has been amazing thanks to our Super Rene and Asst. Super Jose . Since becoming tenant they have always been very respectful and attentive, making sure that my unit is well maintained. When I submit a maintenance request, it is answered in a very timely manner and I am appreciative. I must say that they have made my transition to an apartment in Westchester a good one and I’m grateful we have Rene and Jose to maintain our property.

When I joined this community a few years ago, I was promised a more relaxed vibe and in many ways it exist, but only for specific types of people. I'll list my personal pros and cons and you'll see what I mean: Pros: 1. Maintenance guys are excellent at their job and take care of things immediately, some of them even live on the property. 2. Surrounded by nature, quiet. 3. Affordable. 4. All neighbors I've encountered are very nice and welcoming. You won't find this in the city. Cons: 1. Thin wooden floors that pass noise. I personally don't really care about that, but just noting. 2. My biggest con - management indifference: Note that I am not talking about maintenance here, I'm talking about management. There's no one to talk to, and when you do, they usually just shrug you off

Jose and Rene are amazing! Whenever I’ve submitted a ticket and/or had a problem it’s been taken care of immediately. The summit team is experienced, cordial, knowledgeable and timely. From leaking fridges, to beehives, to cleanliness, they’ve been a great help.

The Summit has been a fantastic place for us to raise our girls! The past 11 years have been a blessing. Everyone from management to maintenance are always extremely helpful and supportive. Including friendly neighbors! We also love the beautiful neighborhood, which is surrounded by nature. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new place to live and call home!!

Lived here for six years. It is a beautiful community! Very affordable with free parking, heat. On site gym and laundry. Very peaceful and quiet. Dobbs Ferry riverfront is nearby and a very good park. Just walking around in the community is relaxing too. Very safe neighborhood. Not sure why other reviewers had any issues, but management was always very responsive with our requests and always helpful. Loved living here.
