The Summit at Avent Ferry

I moved into a renovated 1 bed unit and am loving the layout and space. Yes i have had some roach issues but they have been solved fast with spraying happening 1-2 days after reporting, I still see them but they are dead instead of alive now. When I had moved in there was a HUGE crack in the cement in the balcony that they did not disclose to me before I moved in or signed the lease so I was quite upset about that. It did eventually get fixed about 3 months and I really appreciate Phillip pushing the problem and making sure it was done right and beautifully!!! I love the maintenance crew here they arrive relatively quickly and are very efficient. For the amount of space for the price this is a great community to live in and I love my neighbors.

I moved from NY to NC 2 weeks ago. I researched various apartments in the area. After a few scheduled tours at various places and not happy what I saw. Some places were nice however, they didn’t feel like home. Finally, I scheduled a tour at Summit. First, I must express how welcoming Taniyah was to me. She was friendly, warm, kind and professional. After a conversation. She was very knowledgeable about the apartments and excited to help me make my decision. She showed me 2 one bedrooms and I was so impressed at the appearance of the apartments. I immediately felt at home.I was ready to sign the lease.😊fairly easy process. I am living at Summit and very grateful. I also, got to meet Phillip, wonderful and helpful. Thank you Management team. I am happy to be here!!!

The on site maintenance team is phenomenal but be warned; there are roaches, neighbors being arrested, and foggy windows that contractors advised were dangerous due to mold forming. Most recently, the maintenance team had Clegg's (a contracted company) "spray my apartment", which resulted in nothing. Multiple times I tried to escalate the situation, but my maintenance requests were closed frequently (even though I specified not to close them) due to some sort of miscommunication with the property and their contractors. I was offered a measly $50 credit after this. Do not move in here. They tried to justify cleaning out everybody within my "breezeway" even though I previously told them that my neighbors also had roaches, due to them being in my sealed dishwasher. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. If

I have recently gotten an apartment here. I have noticed some issues and the maintenance guys were awesome! Donald was able to come by my apartment and walk through it with me while I showed him my concerns and then later with another maintenance guy, were able to fix the issues that I had noticed. I didn't think they would be fixed right away, but they were able to get it done the same day. I feel at ease and excited to finish fully moving in!

I just moved into The Summit at Avent Ferry this month and I’m so happy with my decision! The management team’s communication is amazing super responsive and helpful. I had a minor issue in my apartment and maintenance came out the very next day (twice!) to make sure it was fully taken care of. The apartment itself is beautiful, the neighborhood is clean and peaceful, and I love being right by the lake and trails. Plus, the price is very reasonable for the area. Taniyah in the office is especially wonderful she’s down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and always happy to help with any questions. 10/10 recommend The Summit at Avent Ferry!
