They are dishonest. My friend lived in this building, and I was planning to rent a one-bedroom here. The floor plans look great, and the location is ideal. But after reading the deposit agreement, it’s obvious it’s a complete scam. They have no real intention of giving your deposit back when you move out. They’ll claim anything literally a tiny speck of dust as a reason to charge for carpet cleaning or replacement. Do not live here. There are plenty of places that are actually honest. The previous manager, Minh, was great I spoke with him before and was excited to move in. But the new management is completely unhelpful to tenants. Total disappointment.
Do NOT rent here! They kept almost all of my deposit with no valid reason! They claimed they had to replace the carpet, but there were ZERO damages—no stains, no tears, no spills. Just normal wear and tear after living there for 4 years plus people who lived there before, which is completely expected. There was absolutely nothing we did to justify them keeping that deposit. It's honestly disgusting how they operate. I asked the apartment manager, Alex, to send me a copy of the lease agreement (which they clearly violated), and emailed leasing office that is in charge of the deposits. They never followed through. I have photos showing the apartment in great condition when we left—same as the ones they took! There are like 3 small pieces of paper on the floor which is by far not the reason
you know i didn't have bad things to say about living here...until i tried to find a roomate replacement. since subleting is not allowed..i did my due dilagence in finding a suitable roomate to apply. he went through the supposed "new application process" during the process apparently he didn't upload a document the way the system wanted him to so it locked him out. it has now been over a week to get he account unlocked with no answers. i am told by the new building manager after a week now its a "software issue" at this point the potential roomate is frustrated as i dont blame him. no one has answers for days and after a week all he gets is its "a software issue@ still with no solution. there has been a lack of transparency the whole time and i have been told by the building manager that
The only negative review left about this complex was left by a kid that lived below me and loved to complain and cause drama for absolutely no reason at all. Every apartment surrounding him had problems with him. It would be 10:05 and he’d be screaming at security about our tv still being on, or something dropping on the floor. It’s an apartment. Sometimes you hear your neighbors. The reason I’m leaving a bad review is because the company fired our building manager, Minh. Minh asked him to stop and he chose to move out. ALSO, he stole my doormats and threw them in the trash after Minh spoke with him. Which is INSANE! We are not the only unit that had problems with that guy. It has been peaceful in the building since that kid left. When all of your neighbors are the problem maybe it’s j
Nick's former neighbor here and I agree with everything that is listed below. Josh and Minh are the nicest managers you'll find (Dawnta was as well) and Santos was one of the best maintenance supervisors around. We had a great 7 year run at this building (between 2 different apartments) and have nothing but great things to say. The building is in a great central location, you're steps away from Runyon, there's a rooftop pool/jacuzzi, gated parking and a small gym as well. The neighbors were also really nice. This building really is a gem in Los Angeles.
