The Statesman

Updating my review as the property has been on a downward trajectory. See photos. Read management’s responses to comments. You’ll find that they are full of “regret” and equally void of the concern for providing an even marginally acceptable level of care and service for the property and its residents. Try my best to give this property the benefit of the doubt… but, aside from not taking care of the property or treating residents with respect, they can’t even spell the name of their own property correctly on lease documents, rent payment apps, etc. It has become, frankly, more bad to witness than frustrating at this point. The breezeways hadn’t been cleaned in months until t they were recently vacuumed… though the unsightly, inexcusable stains still greet you every day as you depart and

I moved out today after getting married and moving into my husband’s house, but I will always cherish the years I spent living at The Statesman. It was such a safe and comfortable place for me to live on my own. The amenities were great, and the staff was always very accommodating about my dog, which meant a lot to me. Gerald was especially helpful and polite during the move-out inspection process, making everything smooth and easy. I also really appreciated the flexible rental payment option, which made living here much more feasible during a time when housing prices are so high. Overall, I’m very grateful for my time at The Statesman and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place to live.

Great place to live, was hesitant at first because of some of the reviews, but once I started living here, I quickly realized its people with no life lol. So far so good, I moved in with no issues, love the location, the apartment is beautiful and the pool is becoming my favorite place to read a book when it's not too cold outside. It's also really really quiet. Like almost too quiet. I had to get used to that at night from living in the city. you can hear a pen drop if someone is out in the parking lot. I'm still getting used to it, definitely the suburbs.

I just recently moved in to the statesman and I love my new apartment. Jhocelin was very helpful throughout the whole process, she has great customer service and the staff was very nice. I am still getting familiar with the community but so far I feel like I made the right choice.

My experience as a resident of The Statesman Apartments has not matched the community’s advertised “luxury” standards. Over the past several months, I have observed ongoing sanitation and maintenance issues in various common areas. Breezeways have at times had pet waste, urine, and trash left behind, including near residents’ doors. On one occasion, a resident placed a sign stating, “My front door mat is not for your dog to use,” after repeated incidents. I have also seen spider webs on ceilings and walls, peeling paint, and trash left in shared areas. I submitted multiple emails and sanitation requests regarding these concerns. While management has responded with general assurances that issues would be addressed, I have not consistently observed long-term improvements. Additionally, the
