The Standard at Domain

I’ve lived at The Standard at Domain for a while now, and I’ve seen a real shift recently ... in a good way. Since the new manager, Victoria, came on board, things feel more organized and responsive. You can tell she actually cares about how the property runs and about the resident experience. Communication has improved, the office follows up, and there’s a stronger sense of accountability overall. Maintenance requests are being handled more efficiently, and the team seems more aligned than before. The effort and consistency are noticeable. It makes a difference when leadership is present and involved. Victoria has definitely brought that. If the current direction continues, this place is on the right track.

One of the biggest highlights for me living here has been the complimentary fitness classes. Robin is an incredible instructor, and I have definitely felt an improvement in my health since moving in and beginning them last year. They have also been a great way to meet some of my neighbors here in the Standard. The maintenance team has also been spectacular. Very friendly every time I have talked to them about an issue, and they have essentially always come within 24 hours of filing work orders.

Edit 1/6/2026: 4 ⭐ -> 5 ⭐ The management company has changed from BH to Willow Bridge. I had some issues with my rent autopay but I contacted management and was able to get it resolved swiftly. New management has left a great first impression. A roach came in through the bathroom vent on Oct 18 and again on Oct 20. The first time it left the way it came but the second time it is now hiding behind the bathroom mirror. I waited with lights off for an hour to try to kill it with a paper towel but it didn’t come out. My fear is they are reporting back to the nest and will bring more and more roaches over time. Pest control only comes on Fridays (Oct 24) so I guess I’m just living with roaches for a week. 1 star for now but will update this review as the issue progresses. Everything else is ni

I would NOT RECOMMEND living at the Standard at Domain Northside. My overall experience has been TERRIBLE. I signed a short-term three month lease over the summer. This was for a job I had in Austin. During my time living here, I was miserable. To begin with, administration is awful! They were somewhat responsive at the start of my lease, but as it came closer to the end of my lease, they became harder and harder to reach. I had a $400 security deposit that, according to the signed leasing agreement, was specifically supposed to be returned within 30 days of the end of my lease. It's been over 60 days and I still have not been returned my deposit and have been completely ghosted from all communications with resident managers and administration. Even though I saw the bad reviews about management, I decided to take a chance because of the location. I wouldn’t do that again. When I applied to the apartment it was impossible to get in contact with anyone, even with the resident direct line. The response to serious issues like the cockroaches throughout the building is consistently delayed and dismissive. I work a high stress job and this apartment has only added stress in the short time I’ve been here. Update regarding the response feigning ignorance and avoiding responsibility: The app shows numerous pest work orders very clearly. If you’re having trouble locating them, I can walk you through it. The most recent work order was REopened two days ago because maintenance closed it just for scheduling pest control more than two weeks
