If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They don’t do roommate matching at all. I was given an apartment next to a girl that was a nightmare, she kept smoking heavily inside and all the smoke and smell came to my apartment, loud banging and slamming of doors, turning the a.c on in winters, the management couldn’t care less. There was fire in the building nearby me and my friends told me the fire alarm did not work. On the other hand , the fire alarm in my apartment was also faulty, it would start beeping without any smoke and won’t beep when there was smoke. They did not bother cleaning the shared kitchen and living room when new people move in the apartments they advertised as Hovi studio, which was definitely not a studio. The floorboards were loose and there was stagnant water in the dishwasher that they never fixed despite multiple service requests. When we moved in, my daughter‘s bathroom was filthy and we had to clean it. 2. After Two months went by we started getting hit with excessive electric bills apparently based on their discretion. 3. Now months later, I’m getting calls from a collection agency saying that I owe move out fee of over $200. Then he tried to say it was a water bill from May. I’m not sure how this is possible when
