I came here to pick up an order. The customer had misspelled his apartment. I told him to go to the apartment named TH12. I went up to the 12th floor and there was no such apartment there. I asked the doorman, and there was no apartment named TH12. The doorman kicked me out and cursed me. What kind of building is this? How can you allow such rudeness here? The doorman's name is Milton.

I enjoyed everything at this place. All staff were nice and helpful. Doormen are the best! The location is ideal. Hudson Yards, High Line Park and Whole Foods are on the one side and all possible modes of transportation: subway, Amtrak, NJ Transit, are on the other side. I had a gorgeous view on Hudson Yards. The only disadvantage is heating during the winter. Also, I must say I am very loyal to the level of noise. I agree with Esther F's review. I had exactly the same experience. PS: I want to thank the staff for their great work. I enjoyed my time at Sloane a lot! PSS: I received full deposit back.

I rented a one bedroom for a year 2021-2022. I loved this place. The building is old, but I got new appliances when I moved in so maybe I’m biased. Maintenance guys are nice and they are pretty quick. What surprised me were the reviews about the doormen. I loved the staff and doormen there, which is one thing I missed most about the place. They were always really nice to me. The location is also amazing! I wish I signed a longer lease and locked down the covid pricing. But unfortunately had to move because of the market price right now. I felt pretty safe at the Sloane. I had to “check in” all of my friends before they came over. And I always see the doormen checking the delivery guys so it made me feel safe knowing they didn’t just let anyone into the building. I would definitely recomme

I realise so much depends on personal circumstance - I’ve been in buildings in New York with the absolute worst building management who made everything harder for me - but my experience with the staff here was always great (Dmitry in leasing to Milton, Lee, Ignacio, Juan etc…. even Alek ;-)). They were all very friendly and accommodating and most importantly, human (as opposed to corporate robots). My apartment was great. My kitchen was new. Lots of storage. There was always hot water. No insects or sanitary issues. A few times I had a sink clog or some problem, the handymen were quick to repair. The only downside is the heating in winter - it gets VERY HOT - and the only option is to have the heating to your entire unit switched off for the winter or open windows and use AC. With hindsi

Update: originally three, now at most 2, it is so loud at night (constructions and roadworks past midnight)… luckily I’m moving away soon. They also charge you at least $50 if you are locked out 🙃. Stay away if you can. One star for the location, one for some friendly neighbors, and another for a very friendly doorman. Aside from that, I won’t recommend this place as your home. It is SO noisy (I was in a unit on the higher floor that faces the 9th Ave). You heard car horns, vehicle passing, fire trucks ALL THE TIME, sometimes there’s even construction noise past midnight (not sure if that’s even legal!) The management can’t control the noise but at least they should seriously upgrade the soundproof of the windows. For an apartment this price, you would expect to have washer and dryer in
