Overall my home is nice and the finishes I got to choose from are pretty, however, I didn’t choose this neighborhood for that, because new neighborhoods with nice finishings are a dime a dozen in Simpsonville. We chose to build here for the amenities. We were promised a pool, fire pit, and pond to be finished last year yet here it is June and none of the amenities are complete. The neighborhood has been trying to reach our developer for a meeting but we continue to be ignored. We live in front of the pool and pond. Please see the photo of our view. How would you like to see this every day?? Update. The pool is finished, finally. We did find out that the developer will have 100% control of our neighborhood until it’s at 100% capacity. The HOA has to go through the developer for everything j

When will this get cleaned up and accessible to the paying home residents of this charming neighborhood?? Give the people what they were promised! Note to potential new buyers: the construction in front of the pond has been underway for 6 months. The pool was poured in February and yet only frogs and beer cans have been able to enjoy it.

I really want to love this neighborhood. Our HOA is run by the developer and neither the developer or our property management group (William Douglas Management) responds to any resident communication. I was very discouraged to learn that 93 townhomes will be rentals and that particular investor will hold 93 votes when the HOA is finally turned over to the residents. Also, if you are considering this neighborhood, please make sure you fully understand the planned amenities. The bigger side of the community (which will be over twice the size of the smaller, existing side) has plans for an even smaller pool. How does that make sense? Please also understand your voice as a resident will not be heard until they turn the HOA over to the residents which is either: A) when the neighborhood is fu

Research this builder before you sign! Shame on us for not doing that, I plead with you to do your homework. We have been in the new construction industry for over 20 years and have built 4 new homes, we should have looked at the reviews before signing. This builder does not care about your new home, the things we saw during construction were appalling and when we attempted to complain, we were stunned by how unprofessional, unresponsible and uncaring the team was. The higher we went up the management chain, the worse it was. We had major concerns but tried to stayed hopeful. As we approached closing, our scheduled walkthrough was a house with no water, no power, no working a/c, stained carpets and a garage covered with inches of clay, to name a few. We still stayed the course, but

This builder is complete trash. They took over a development we built a house in and have done nothing but make horrible decisions and trash up the neighborhood. They have decided not to pursue additional amenities that were promised to many residents as well as have decided to build specific unit units for rentals in the new phase. All of us who built early in this neighborhood sincerely appreciate you going back on your word and plummeting the resale value of our homes. Never buy with this builder.
