The Savoy at Southwood

We’ve had a truly wonderful experience living here. The apartment itself is clean, odorless, and filled with natural light that made every day feel brighter. There were no hidden fees or strange charges, everything was transparent and straightforward. The service has always been prompt and attentive. Any time we needed assistance, the response was quick and professional. As we prepare to leave the city, this place holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where we welcomed our first baby and where both my husband and I completed our PhDs. This apartment has been more than just a place to live—it’s been part of a very meaningful chapter in our lives. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, and well-managed home.

I am so glad our lease is up. This was a traumatic experience from the first day. Where do I even start with this review? We were in 3bed/2bath unit and were paying around $2100/month. Already starting with price that is higher than average mortgage rate for a house. First move-in was into a roach infested unit that was completely trashed (appliances broken, scratches everywhere, extremely dirty, etc.)… we had to spend our first nights in a hotel until they moved us into the “new” unit - which was ”renovated”. That unit was the same story. They had to send cleaners again because it was DIRTY - see pictures. Second, ROACH INFESTED - doesn’t matter how much you clean and spray, you can’t get rid of them. We had pest control scheduled for every Wednesday for ENTIRE year and still no improveme

Horrible service. The apartment complex looks amazing. We showed up at 3pm(within their office hours) and the whole place was shut down. Doors locked and lights off. We called and the voicemail told us that we caught them outside of their office hours… its posted directly outside the office 10am-5pm… a week later we called and scheduled a tour at 12. We showed up, nobody was there, we called, nobody answered. We waited for an hour and no one ever showed up. Im sure the complex is nice but I dont know how anyone ever gets to see the place. We LOVE The Savoy!! We lived here when we moved to Tally, but recently bought a house so we had to move. We were genuinely sad to leave! The pool and gym are amazing (best of any apartments we toured in town, and we toured eight others), our apartment was very quiet, the grounds are pretty, well kept, and nice to walk, and our neighbors were very sweet. The folks in the front office are the absolute best. Eunice & Michael are awesome and went out of their way for us constantly! Eunice even found us the exact apartment we were looking for and called us the second it became available, which she didn’t have to do at all since it definitely would have sold! I've been living at The Savoy for 4 months, and it's been a fantastic experience. One of the things I appreciate most is how responsive the management and maintenance team are. Anytime I've had an issue—whether it’s a small repair or something bigger—they address it quickly and efficiently. You can tell they really care about keeping residents comfortable! The staff is always friendly and professional, greeting everyone with a smile and a willing to help. Michael and Eunice are always so kind and always willing to help when they can. The maintenance staff is also very kind always saying hi whenever they see you on the property. It makes such a difference knowing that kind, approachable people are running the place.
