The Rockefeller Norfolk Apartments

It has been our pleasure to live here for the past 2 years. The staff was splendid, especially Jenn. She’s always been so helpful and welcoming to us. The maintenance staff were also very kind to us as well and have helped us with to maintenance concerns in a timely manner. Super grateful to have called this place my home!

I have lived at The Rockefeller for a year now and just renewed my lease. I have nothing but nice things to say about the property, the location, the community, the tenants, the staff, the amenities and the sense of well-being that I have here. The leasing office and the maintenance team are always genuine and very helpful. I have a very demanding job and my biggest reward is coming home at the end of the day to unwind. If I don’t feel like cooking, I’m walking distance to dozens of awesome restaurants and cafes. This building is so grand and has a lot of awesome history and character to it. The Rockefeller (originally the Naval YMCA) is a true Norfolk legend. I brag to everyone about my experience here. Thank you!

We have loved living here! Jenn and Lisa have always been so helpful and patient from the very start! They’ve been accommodating to us and we are so thankful. We are so sad to leave here but definitely recommend especially to anyone wanting to live downtown! Edited : also wanted to note maintenance is great and very welcoming! E has helped us once we first moved in with problems we had in the apartment but it got fixed asap!

I visited Norfolk to find an apartment for my son who will be relocating to the area. I was very impressed by the Rockefeller. We were greeted right away, the ladies were kind, attentive and provided a lot of information on the building and area. The apartment I was shown was so unique and adorable! Emily was our leasing agent and was great! We ended up choosing an apartment in Newport News to be close to my sons work, but if we chose city of Norfolk, we would have gone to The Rockefeller!

As a resident of this building, I have to say the maintenance team is fantastic! They are always friendly, helpful, and handle all issues with ease. Whether it’s a small repair or something bigger, they take care of everything promptly and professionally. I also find them to be very trustworthy, which is incredibly important. Overall, I’ve been really impressed with their service and feel confident knowing they’re here to help when needed!
