The Ridge Apartments

This has been one of the worst housing experiences we have ever had. We lived in this complex with young children, and yet management ignored serious health and safety issues. We experienced a rodent infestation, constant water leaks in the bathroom, and unsanitary living conditions that affected our rest and well-being. Despite multiple reports, no real or permanent solutions were ever provided. What is most upsetting is that even while management was fully aware of the rat infestation, we were charged a penalty fee in order to vacate the apartment, forcing us to pay extra just to leave a situation that clearly put our health and our children’s safety at risk. I’ve lived here for 5 years and honestly I love the area. Office team and maintenance are friendly and quickly take care of the issues that arise. Overall it’s peaceful and quiet and walking distance to HEB, Starbucks and more. Love that there’s easy freeway access and I can get anywhere in town quickly (depending on time of day). Also love that they have brought back Resident events! Thank you Feliciana, Trey, Amanda, Ernesto and the maintenance for all you do!

Great service and experience. The issue was addressed promptly promptly and professionally. The technician explained the adjustment clearly and ensured that the water heater was safely set fort stable hot water while maintaining energy efficiency. Lived here when COVID hit. The neighborhood/community was amazing. Loved all my neighbors and only had great experiences with one of the leasing agents at the time. Over the time I learned the head manager of the complex was extremely racist which was one of the reasons I didn't want to resign and they wanted $200 more for rent when I got my resign paper. Skip to now the last couple months I've been looking for a new place to move into and thought I'd see what the ridge had to offer and if the management had changed. It did, and I was super happy. During my tour and with the layout papers I was given I was TOLD MULTIPLE TIMES/WRITTEN that the administration fee was COMPLETELY REFUNDABLE NO MATTER WHAT. Multi-month water intrusions (Leaking roof for 2+ months,) Cockroaches, overflowing dumpsters, and insulting compensation terms. We've lived in two units here over a few years. The good: The units themselves are fine, area's safe enough, people are good as good is, and nothing catastrophic really happens to my knowledge. The bad: In the first year of our lease our AC began leaking, the drip pan overflowed onto the bathroom ceiling and started leaking onto the bathroom floor. It took over two months for it to be fixed, the reason given was "We don't actually have any staff capable of fixing this right now." We were promised vague 'compensation' verbally by the then-property-manager. The entire site staff later got replaced and then the issue was finally fixed, but we were not given compe
