The Retreat – PK: Lake Home Sales & Rentals

Stayed this weekend. We had a large group of people and the cabin was accommodating. Close to the water and a boat ramp. We enjoyed the pool for a while waiting for the rain to pass. Rooms were clean beds were comfortable.

Beautiful location, friendly staff. Cabin was cute and comfy. Will definitely visit again. Everything we ate at the restaurant on site was delicious!

Absolutely disappointing so say the least! We arrived to find the cabin in non rentable appearance. The cabin was dirty in every aspect. The floors were dirty, the furniture was dirty, the leg broke upon sitting on the only piece of furniture that looked suitable to even sit on. The bedding was dirty and there was feces in the non flushing toilet on arrival. We tried to contact someone with no answer on the phone and no one in the office. We had to find somewhere else to stay and when we returned the keys and informed them we hadn't stayed in the cabin due to the conditions, we were informed that someone would be contacting us. That still hasn't happened. On top of everything else, terrible customer service. I wouldn't even leave one star if it wasn't required to be able to post.

We stayed in a very nice, remodeled room at the motorboat inn just down the street from the retreat where our friends were staying in a great little house/cabin.

Looks like the remodels are going to be awesome. Major upgrade to the property
