The Residences of Orland Park Crossing

Recently sold to BH Management - crooks! It’s all gone downhill! The “cost saving” management company has bought this property 2 months ago. They’re no longer keeping up with cleaning the common areas, hallways, etc as well as they used to. They’re nickel and diming every single possible thing they can. I paid $29/mo for garbage collection, for example. Now that I left, they want $300 with no explanation or even a statement. The apartment was professionally cleaned before we left, and there was genuinely no damage there. I could have recommended this place last year as many of these reviews did - but now I beg you to find something better!

Leasing agent Trent has been consistently responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful with any questions or concerns I’ve had over the years. His support gave me peace of mind and made me feel truly valued as a resident. Equally impressive is Property Manager Danielle, whose dedication to the community is unmatched. She’s incredibly engaged, always available when needed, and goes above and beyond to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards. Mixed Experience at The Residences of Orland Park Crossing… I lived here from October 2022-April 2025, and while there were some positives, there were also several ongoing issues that made the experience frustrating. Pros: - Maintenance was generally responsive and completed requests in a timely manner. - The location is convenient, and the amenities look nice on the surface. Cons: - Move-in and move-out were unnecessarily stressful. The elevators weren’t prepped or padded, and I was concerned about being held responsible for any damage caused during the moving process. - On one occasion after routine maintenance, I found my apartment door left unlocked—something that made me feel very uneasy. - The grounds were often dirty. I woke up to find another resident’s Hyundai parked illegally and literally pushed up against my car. No note, no apology! Just damage and disrespect. When I went to management for help identifying the owner, I was met with excuses about a “new system” and how they “don’t have resident parking plates.” So apparently, they can’t even keep track of who parks here. What’s the point of paying for a secure community if anyone can damage your car and get away with it? Absolutely unacceptable. Now I will have to get police involved, what can be better!

I rented from April 2024-March 2025 and I was thrilled to call the Residences at OPC home. Danielle and her team always accommodated the majority of my requests and needs. Apartments are updated and in great condition. The maintenance team always worked hand in hand with me to make sure I was happy with any problem that arose. This was my first apartment I’ve ever rented and the residences of OPC team made it perfect! I only left to improve my commute, if not I would still be at the residences of OPC. Great community, great neighbors, and a great staff.
