I have lived at the Residences at Richmond Trust for a little over a year now. I rent the Ellwood Studio and absolutely love it! The large windows come with amazing views and let in so much natural light that help make the space feel open and grand for being a studio. The built in storage, new Bosch appliances and little design features help maximize the space while giving it a luxurious feeling. The community itself is fairly quiet (fair warning, I am accustomed to apartment living. So footsteps or normal neighborly sounds don’t bother me) you’ll hear more from the downtown life than anything which is honestly something I love. The location is absolutely perfect for me as are the sunsets, whether you catch them from your windows or the rooftop terrace you really can’t beat it. The staff h

I moved here as soon as they opened last August. As someone who's pretty much moved every year or two throughout my whole life, I have to say, Residences at Richmond Trust was by far the easiest place to live. The amenities were sleek & simple- everything you need and nothing you don't. The bathroom is beautiful and easy to clean, with a glass shower which I loved. The staff was always friendly and responsive. The few maintenance requests I did have while living here were answered within 24 hours. Everything is very clean and I didn't have to worry about pests, mold, or anything of the sort. They also do community events upstairs in the clubhouse and on the roof! The mail room is secure and I never had a problem with package-stealing or anything of the sort. The building itself felt ver

Very disappointing experience I had a bad experience living in this apartment. 1. There is often a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the building. 2. The bathroom has no exhaust fan, so the smoke and odors cannot be ventilated and stay inside the room. 3. When I tried to renew my lease, the rent was increased by 300. However, after I decided not to renew, I saw the same apartment listed on the official website at the original price, which felt very unfair and misleading. 4. I also noticed that staff members sometimes sleep inside the apartment, which is unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, the management lacks transparency and professionalism. I would not recommend this place.

I lived at the complex for two years and really enjoyed my time there. I'd like to specifically call out Laura Kay. She held really amazing community events, handled multiple Richmond water crises, and made Residences welcoming and showed her passion and love for the building, its residences and Richmond. I know that she has moved to a new property, I hope whoever takes her place is able to uphold with the standards she held and keep Residences a special place to live.

I lived in this building for 8 months, and it was the worst experience of my life for several reasons: Firstly, despite being assured that the building was smoke-free, I consistently detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the bathroom vent. The smell was so pervasive that I had to use a mask to enter the bathroom. Repeated complaints via email and in-person visits to the leasing office yielded no resolution. They even admitted that many other tenants suffered from the same issue. They offered me another apartment in the last two weeks of my lease, which was pointless since the root problem wasn't addressed. Secondly, there was a clear violation of my privacy. I received emails about events like Halloween and Valentine's Day parties but no communication about window cleaning.
