The parking and towing situation here is awful. My roommate (a resident) was towed from his designated parking spot that he pays for. The management doesn’t bother to update the signs in the complex so the parking is unclear. A friend of mine was towed from the street where the only visible sign said “no parking on this side of the street” insinuating that parking was allowed on the other side. This was not the case. The towing service they use (Rapid Recovery) charged me $330 for the entire bill and one of the items was an impound fee of $22.85. According to Texas law this is illegal since the maximum amount a towing service can charge is $20. Aside from not following the law, this towing service charges the maximum allowable fee for all other items. I will not be renewing my lease and
Parents of Texas A&M Students — Please Read Before Signing If your student is considering signing a lease at The Reserve at College Station (3405 Treeline Dr, College Station), I strongly encourage you to review the lease carefully and compare alternative properties before committing. This property operates under what is marketed as an “individual lease,” meaning your student rents only a bedroom and roommates are assigned by management. However, the lease (which runs over 50 pages including addendums) also includes joint and several liability language that can hold tenants financially responsible for damage or violations in shared areas, even when roommates are assigned by the landlord and individually approved. Parents should fully understand how this structure works before signing. I
Living here has been nothing short of amazing! The community feels safe, welcoming, and genuinely like home. Any time my roommates or I have had even the smallest issue the staff/maintenance has gone above and beyond to take care of it quickly and they always go about it with so much kindness. I’ve never felt more comfortable or happy in a living space. I absolutely love it here & I’m truly excited to spend the rest of my college journey in a place that exceeds every expectation. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!
PLEASE READ IF YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT MOVING HERE! I lived here for three years, mainly just because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of moving. At first it seems like a nice place with the size of the houses and the amenities, but it’s just for show. It’s a “gated community”, but the gates never worked. Didn’t have a dryer for about 3 months after calling and putting in MANY work orders. Dishwasher didn’t work for two years and when it got “fixed” it still had problems. Had a wasp infestation in my BEDROOM that no one would come fix. The wood on the balcony was rotten. Water leak into one of the kitchen light fixtures that caused water damage along the entire back wall of the house and MOLD. Oh and in June our ac caught on fire… I’m not one to try to get free things, but I feel like
