The Preston at Falls Center

I've lived at the Preston for 3.5 years. There are great features of this building. The parking lot and garage, in-house gym, and location near 76 and Roosevelt Blvd are definite perks. They also add new amenities to the building, including a sauna this year. Julie, the leasing agent, is very accommodating, thoughtful, and kind. Kenrick, maintenance extraordinaire, is prompt, communicative, and kind. It's a pleasure to see both of them around the building!

I lived here for 5+ years. Here are pros and cons: Pros - Free parking(for now) - 3 elevators - Maintenance staffs are quick and competent. - The leasing manager Julie is very professional and great at everything she does. - Low utility bill - I feel relatively safe living here. Cons - Noise from Henry Avenue - Occasional cockroaches - The parking circle with sign that says “15 minutes parking only” with the same cars parked there for weeks. It’s never monitored. - There is a school inside the complex, the pick-up/drop-off time is an absolute mayhem. Parents have no manner or common sense - they will stop/park their car wherever they want even if it blocks the entire traffic flow on Henry Ave. The undisciplined school kids will run around the road screaming with no regards of the surroun

I just moved in, but wanted to shout out maintenance! Kenrick's been super friendly and personable every time I've talked to him. Whenever I see him, he makes sure to ask me if everything is good in my apartment, which I appreciate. He's was quick to respond to the first request I put in and called before coming up to give me a heads up he's on his way (ace move). He even re-caulked my bathtub as a bonus because I made a comment about the discoloration. So far the best maintenance I've had at an apartment. Also the apartment building itself is really nice! Big, spacious hallways. Apartments are small but bright and clean. I needed an apartment fast and leasing at the Preston worked with me and got me an apartment I'm really happy with. And they got it ready in like 2 days. It was great.

This is the most charming building ! Everyone is so nice and helpful, maintenance comes immediately when you put in a request, it's a great place to live.

In the 2ish years of living here, I have almost no complaints! I love the big windows, the promptness and attentiveness of the maintenance and leasing staff, the great water pressure, the almost total absence of bugs/mice, the frequent hallway cleanings, the soundproof walls, and the safety! Everyone who lives here and works here is kind and the pizza place next door is a bonus, as well as the beautiful sunset over the city seen from the top floor of the parking garage! The only negatives in all my time here is that the fire alarms are sensitive, as well as there is no handicap accessible automatic doors that I know of that can be easily accessed, unfortunately. Other than that, to me the pros outweigh the cons, and I love it here!
