Very nice room and very kind persons, I had a great time with them. Would like to share some infos u may be interested in: 1. Room: very clean and comfortable with reasonable price in downtown Lafayette. Also not far from Purdue University, so it could be a perfect choice if u want to live downtown and also need to university. 2. Maintenance: fast and reliable. The wood floor in my room warped due to moisture only 2wks after I moved in. I asked for maintenance on resident site and they came to repair it the next morning. And they left the dehumidifier for me to avoid severer damage. 3. Persons: a kind madam guided me here and the neighbors were quiet and friendly. U can almost get all your deposit back if u clean your room carefully when moved out. But it seems hard to get an available

I visited 'The Press' today after seeing multiple signs on-site advertising 'newly renovated' units. Unfortunately, the unit I was shown has not been renovated since 2018. There were visible cracks in the walls by the windows and the carpeting was significantly worn. When I pointed out the discrepancy between the advertising and the reality of the unit, the leasing agent acknowledged the signs were misleading. I’m disappointed that my time was wasted on a bait-and-switch. Prospective tenants should be aware that 'newly renovated' here appears to mean 'eight years old.'

Lived in a top floor studio 2019-2020. One of the best apartment experiences I've had. Great leasing office, building was interesting and fun to live in, and an excellent location for students and people wanting to be in downtown.

I was a tenet of a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment at The Press for three years from 2019 to 2022. I had an excellent experience throughout my time there. The buildings location, 2 miles from Purdue's chemistry buildings, made my bike commute as a graduate student ideal (not too long, not too short). I never had an issue with any of the apartment's lights, appliances, or plumbing. The buildings walls are not soundproof but they are fairly thick. Plus the respectful tenets of the building were peaceful and clean. If you can can grab one of these, in high demand, apartments, then I suggest you do so. I recommend them without reservation.

I am a current tenant. The building is beautiful, clean, extremely quiet and seems primarily filled with grad students and more mature professionals. Within walking distance to just about everything, and the free CityBus to Purdue picks up and drops off within steps from our door. Guaranteed lot parking is available for an up charge, or you can use free street parking just a few blocks over. Highly recommended!
