The Post at Parmer

I just spent my first week at the Post at Parmer, and I found the complex to be clean and quiet. The people I have met have been welcoming. The apartment has been exactly as described. A couple small things that need to be addressed based on our punch list but it met/exceeded my expectations. Erienne was our Leasing professional. She clearly explained the process and helped make sure everything was documented and understood. I would suggest asking for her by name if you are considering moving into the Post at Parmer. DS.

The Post at Parmer – Buyer Beware My first impression of The Post at Parmer was being told by leasing agent Charnelle that I needed to sign my lease before September 1st to get 4 weeks free rent instead of 2. On September 1st, their own Instagram advertised 6 weeks free. I’m not saying it was a bait-and-switch—but it certainly feels suspicious. I moved in anyway. My “luxury” apartment came with two active wasp nests on the balcony sprinklers, construction debris in my cabinets, a front door handle that fell off, no hot water for weeks, a flickering bedroom light that took two months to fix, and a cracked toilet base that also took months to address. Maintenance consistently failed to diagnose issues, blamed me for problems, and required repeated visits just to get anything resolved. Com

I lived at Post between August 2024 and October 2025, and had a really great experience. Staff was very communicative and helpful. They were very fair with my move out - had to leave quickly due to work needing me to move cross country in a quick turnaround, and worked with me on my extension. The apartments are very nice, the maintenance staff is friendly and quick, and the community has a lot of really great people in it. Pools are great, community keeps things pretty clean if they grill/hang out in the courtyards. The gym is great, the clubhouse is very nice. Proximity to HEB and Pinstacks (go on Monday nights for $3 pints and half priced apps!) is great. They make a concerted effort to have events and try to make everyone feel welcome. Things you should know if you are signing your lease here, I did not get my security deposit back at all. I lived in this apartment for more than a year and I cleaned up the place really well, way cleaner than what I was handed over. When the apartment was given to me the place was dusty and had paint chips all over the place and the patio was clearly dirty, when I moved out management charged me a cleaning fee of 100$ even though I left the place clean. Apart from this the apartment location is great, but when I moved to this apartment I expected a premium experience, there are no fences or walls which separate the complex from the road and most apartments are just exposed to anyone from the street walking in to the complex, I had to call the cops once because I had a homeless man passed

I've been living here for 7 months now and I don't have any serious complaints. Amenities are great, the gym is good and all machines work well. Every time we needed something to be fixed it was done quickly. Never had any problems with insects as well. The community is quiet.
