Great apartment if you enjoy watching baby roaches grow up into full grown roach roommates. Oh and if you like getting stuck in the elevator that only works 4 out of the 52 weeks in your lease, this is the place for you! Don’t worry about the gates or the management cause they’re all just for decoration. The tow trucks, however, do consistently tow (the wrong ppl btw ) to an impound that’s 30 minutes away and cost $300 to get your car back. Did I mention the adorable lil roaches? Happy leasing season!!!
Lived here for 2 years while going to UTSA and had roaches for the first year and had pest control come by numerous times, during the second year in the summer the A/C went out for about a week and had someone "fix" it but it went out later the same day and I had no A/C for about a week and the apartment was around 85 degrees since it was summer. The internet goes out randomly and one year had the internet go out during finals week and I had to study and do homework elsewhere. After moving out I left the apartment spotless but the bath tub had stains on the corners which were there before I moved in but this being my first apartment I didn't think to take pictures and for that I got charged a deep cleaning fee after moving out. I pleaded my case but got one email over the course of six mon
I visited The Oasis a few years ago and decided not to sign at that time. Recently, I came back to visit a friend and was amazed by the huge improvements made to the property. The place looks and feels completely different — clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The staff was fantastic and very well organized. The new manager, Claude, was especially friendly and professional. He took the time to show me all the upgrades and changes that have transformed the community. First impressions mean a lot to me, and Claude and his team have truly turned things around. I’m happy to give them my business now and will definitely be recommending The Oasis to my friends!
Living at The Oasis (The Luxx) was an absolute disaster. If you’re looking for housing near UTSA, save yourself the stress and avoid this place at all costs. From start to finish, my experience was filled with issues that made it clear this property is mismanaged and does not care about its residents. Here’s what I dealt with: 1. Moving-In Problems I signed a short-term lease and got notified the day before move-in that the Building B elevators weren’t working. In the middle of August heat, I and countless other residents had to haul all our belongings up multiple flights of stairs while management did absolutely nothing to help. The worst part? The elevators stayed broken for months, with the office staff giving the same excuse: “We’re waiting on a part.” This kind of neglect was just t
DO NOT MOVE HERE! This apartment complex is an absolute nightmare. First off, I had mold growing in my sink that never got properly addressed, despite reporting it. I was promised my washer machine would be fixed, but guess what? It never was! On top of that, two random men showed up to my apartment late at night knocking on the door and also running up and down the halls of our floor which was absolutely terrifying and completely unacceptable.Days later, I had a friend show me photos that their apartment door was kicked in and broken into . And let’s not even talk about the elevators! They’re constantly broken ALL THE TIME , leaving you stranded or forced to take the stairs, no matter what floor you live on. To top it all off, management is a joke. Claude Orelus, the so-called “manager
