The Nexus Apartments

Pretty disappointed in this complex. For starters, I can’t begin to explain how unprofessional the staff is. They reached out to my (now ex) partner, and let them know I was looking at a place there rather than responding to me. If I make the request, email me not my partner. The office staff was fairly ambivalent when I moved in, but I’ve had nothing but bad vibes from them. One of the office staff is pretty mean. If you’re a pet owner, look elsewhere. They have been pretty bad about “pet-friendly” policies, while I agree the dog mess is a problem, maybe do something more than implementing a “fine and reward” policy to encourage snitching when dogs are off leash. Cheap apartments with a fancy name. My partner and I moved in to one of the town houses on the first of October. We had to choose a move in date in advance, obviously. So everything should have been ready but for some odd reason we had to wait till 4pm that day because the locks weren’t even changed. My bf took the day off work to move everything and we wasted a whole day waiting for the ONE maintenance guy to come from Montrose to the switch the locks. And the keys aren’t standard keys so we can’t get copies made at a Lowe’s or Home Depot but have to call a locksmith. Irritating. The unit wasn’t even cleaned prior to move in. There’s dead bugs in all the windows and door frames. Dust and paint chips on the floor. The upstairs outlets don’t work in the bathroom. The ac doesn’t cool off the

Wrote a previous review just letting everybody know about the status of things that they were move in. Nothing rude or incorrect it was deleted. Mail is not set up yet no date to win. It’s gonna be set up. Amenities that are on the website stating that you can use them are not built or even started to be built yet. This one will probably be deleted too as I am just letting people know what they will be walking into.
