The Nest Apartments

I lived in the Nest for 4 years and had positive experiences with the leasing staff and maintenance team during that time. For example, I had an issue with my fridge going out - and the maintenance team replaced it with a new unit in less than 24 hours. I think it’s hard to beat for the price compared to the new builds in Scott’s Addition.

Writing this review for how great the maintenance worker has been! All requests have been done in a timely manner and with great hospitality! Was even having key issues and saw him in the gym at 10:30PM and he could have told me to put a request in and wait, but instead he went out of his way late at night, to help me out! Nothing but great experiences with maintenence!

I moved to The Nest in May of this year and I absolutely LOVE IT! The management team is absolutely incredible. Ashley and Lindsay are so sweet and they truly care about the residents. Not only do they get things done on time, but they have a wealth of knowledge about leasing. They are always happy to help anyone. My apartment is beautiful and I love my private balcony. The entire apartment complex is really nice. I would highly recommend moving here if you are looking for places in Scott's Addition. There are so many fun restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in walking distance. The Nest is where it's at :)

If you are considering moving to this building, do NOT do it. This is how my unit was found upon moving in, AFTER it was allegedly cleaned and inspected. This building is horribly designed and after only 3 years, should be in much better condition. The balcony doors are exactly leveled with the balcony which in turns means your living room will be flooded upon any sort of rain. Management is neglectful, dismissive, and only cares about receiving your money. There are many apartment buildings that can offer a SAFE living space and a polite staff, that is willing to assist their tenants. Save yourself money wasted and a tragic living experience and do not move here.

I honestly feel really scammed. This apartment complex is marketed as luxury, but it couldn’t be closer to it. We were told by the leasing agent when touring that the residents were very considerate of other residents. Why is my neighbor having band practice at 9 PM then? Why is another neighbor vacuuming at 10PM? Why are the hall trash cans always overfilled with stinky garbage? Why is their puke in the stairwell? Why does our balcony door not seal completely and let rain water in? Why are the kitchen cabinets lopsided and clearly not level? Why do the residents crowd the trash room with trash instead of putting it in the proper place? Why were the elevator lights out for over a week with no discourse? Not to mention that nearly every resident has a massive dog and that the sound of dog’s
