The Monroe on Monterey

I’m really enjoying living at The Monroe. I’m deeply grateful for Joanne and how kind, thoughtful, and accommodating she was throughout the entire process. The staff is friendly, the property is clean, and everything feels safe and well-managed. It’s been one of the smoothest, quickest, and most stress-free living experiences I’ve ever had.

Excelent it has been a good experience, the amenities are really good and something I like the most is that the staff in general they always keep looking how to improve they’re residents experience and make the residence more attractive and comfortable for each one of us

Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Not only did they release my deposit late past the 30 days, but when received they already took out the charges even though on the letter it stated I had 30 days to dispute anything plus the charges that were taken out were incorrect. Then when contacted to get my remaining balance due to the forfeited charges per law being past 30 days, they have YET to send my money. I called and emailed with no responses and when I did they kept saying they were mailing it but then weeks passed and nothing. My lease ended Oct 2025, It is now Feb 2025 and I still received nothing!

I just want to start off by saying that my wife and I believe that Joanne is heaven sent! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident about our choice to live here, everyone else in the office has been very nice and caring as well. We know there is no perfect apartment but as of now everything seems to be working fine and the place was very clean when we moved in and not much I can complain about especially considering the place was in our budget. We are very happy that they are animal friendly and everyone here seems very friendly and kind.

I have lived here for 8 years. I have always felt safe and well cared for. The few times that I have needed maintenance, the issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently. Whenever I walk into the office I am always greeted with a smile. I am grateful for all that the ladies in the office and the maintenance engineers do to help keep The Monroe a nice place to live. And yes, you can hear everything that goes on in your neighbor's apartment but the apartments are super cute! Thank you ladies and gentlemen and Happy Valentine's Day.
