The Monica Apartments

The previous owner was Jamestown apartment. Scott( the son) was the manager. My rent was $1,000 and I was totally fine with it. You had j til the 6th to pay rent. Private fence at that one and comfortable living. Now you got a bunch of folks that came together to throw their money in the pot and bought out this apartment that’s now called the “Monica apartments” from their favorite tv show “FRIENDS” have totally trashed this. The paint job was done horribly. The whole landscaping is a hit mess. Some patio have rocks, some have dirt. There is no privacy because the fence is not up to code. It’s suppose to be semi private and it’s absolutely not. Good luck with that from the city. I truly loved this after being here for six years. I gave the new owners a try and I renewed my lease three time

I currently live in these apartments. I DON'T recommend them at ALL!! I'm trying to move out. I've sent them emails, I've called and they never answered and or returned our calls. My rent goes up about every 3 months. I pay $1752.00 for an apartment that isn't remodel. They just sent me an email for a new lease again but they didn't send any information on how much am I going to pay. We got people trying to break in to our cars and properties "I have everything on video" the managers don't care and once again they don't answer when we report it. Landscaping guys scratch our cars and once again managers don't do anything about it. It's frustrating living here. It's been 24 hours since I've emailed them and they can't answer/ call me with the information I need as I want to move out ASAP!!!

I gave the other owners the 5 stars. I honestly don't know why these owners or managers have raised the rent so much. I think they're a bit stingy. I'm in the process of buying a house because between now and the end of the contract, they're going to want me to pay more than $2,000.

New owners and I have no idea why the rent has tripled. Trying to recover COVID loss? Maintenance guy Bob is no longer employed there and good luck with getting anything fixed. Posting for friends that live there and can't wait for their lease to end. Go ANYWHERE else

Diamond in the rough and probably largest 2 bedroom apartment homes in Chandler. Feel more like a cottage or condo and so wonderful that nobody has to ever deal with noisy upstairs neighbors since all one story. Each has a great backyard/patio area, private but not closed in. Assigned carport and plenty of extra spots for visitors. Interiors are easy upkeep and complimentary, tons of closet space and a great management team and the most amazing maintenance team on Earth (where else does a guy come fix your leak on a Saturday when he's supposed to be off work?) Lots of everything nearby, Chandler Mall, restaurants, bowling, schools, downtown and so much more. A little noisy at front of the complex but for the price, upgrades and size of this place, you won't find a better price per s
