The Mill at Riverside

The place flooded again on Aug.6, 2024 for the second time in the two years I have lived here. Some of the stuff I started packing for my Jan. 2025 move out was ruined. This is ridiculous..can not do this a 3rd time. I moved in August 2022. A week later my car was floating in a lake full of water my car rugs were soaked. A lot of people that were living here when I first moved in have moved out. If and/or when the entry doors aren't working you can't into your apartment. So, if you don't have the app or leave your phone you can't get into a place your paying rent for. I recently needed to re-download the door app and the person that works in the office has the damn audacity to question why or how many times I need the app downloaded. I lived at The Mill at Riverside in Riverside, NJ for four years and had a great experience overall. The small-town vibe made it feel like home, and I have so many good memories from my time there. There were some issues with flooding, but after speaking with Yesenia, I found out it was a municipal issue, not management’s fault. The air was also really loud in the unit but I have crazy hearing so maybe that's why that stood out to me. Yesenia was the best property manager we had. She was always super understanding and genuinely cared about the community. Ale from maintenance was also the bomb.com he was there since day one and always fixed things quickly and efficiently. If you’re looking for a peaceful townhome community with great people and a small-town feel, I definitely recommend it

*UPDATE* 3YEARS PRO: CLEAN building maintenance does a good job at trying to keep up with the trash and keep hallways clean. Now if there are smells they are normally taken care of by the next day. Residents are nice for the most part. apartments are nice new and lots of space. I have NOT seen any bugs on the 3rd floor. packages are easy to get and don't seem to go missing. I have not needed any maintenance in apartment so i can not comment on that. Office is kept nice and CLEAN. I have always felt safe living here. Cons: It does FLOOD. If it rains a a lot you CAN NOT PARK. You take the chance of it getting flooded. I has happened twice real bad. people had to come out of pocket to replace their cars. My name is Sheryl Butler-White, Happy New Year!! I have been renting from The Mill at Riverside for nearly two years. When I moved in, I wasn't really sure if I would be able to make my apartment a home,simply because of the location. But as time passed, I became more comfortable with my surroundings and with the help, guidance, and support from your Property Manager Yesenia Borrero, I am very satisfied with my "Home"!! . Storm hit our unit on Aug 22, 2022 and flooded the entire alley. Water seep into my garage where my car was parked causing major flood damages. Contact them and they're ignoring my contacts. I'm very disappointed. No way to treat people this way. Update: They sent an email telling us to file a claim through insurance but blamed on the "mother nature" instead of a clogged storm drain. Stay away from this place because this is how they treat the residence due to their improper maintenance or construct of storm drain(s) We're paying about 2000 a month and shouldn't have to deal with this while the management won't take responsibility whatsoever. STAY AWAY!
