The Mezzo Lofts at City Center

Crooks!!! Lived in a 400sq ft apt with extreme water damage for the entirety of my lease. Called maintenance 4 times about it, they told me there was nothing to do. No windows, only one skylight. The ceiling above the kitchen has disintegrated. Dripping all night. Also, they owe me money, to which I've contacted them about multiple times since September of last year (It's January).

Problems after problems even before moving in. The elevator is ALWAYS down every month , they take forever to fix the problem, up to a week of walking up and down 5 flights of stairs with knee problems. I have been overcharged a couple of times and if i dont call and say something they wouldve not fixed the amount charged. I was not given any type of information as in the laundry code to the door, the app to open doors, i was only aware after 4 months of staying there because of the neighbors. THIN WALLS you can hear everything as in your neighbors footsteps even the pets foot steps , their conversations, and even the people outside you can hear EVERYTHING.

ABSOLUTE WORST 11 months of my life. Our roommate had a mental breakdown and couldn’t stay here any longer. First off, the music is EXTREMELY loud, and se*ual, which causes me to panic (as I’ve been a victim to that type of abuse as well as my girlfriend). However my experience is nowhere NEAR as bad as my girlfriends, she started having psychological seizures due to extreme distress from hearing domestic violence, VERY LOUD MUSIC, vulgarity from the blaring music, deejays screaming and EVEN barking, not even exaggerating. You can’t even hear your thoughts. These awful lyrics make her feel sick as well, she has lost 60 pounds since moving here (not by choice). In my search of looking for an apartment so far, I am disappointed the most in the customer service of Mezzo Lofts. I came here during their open office hours with the doors locked. I called every single number listed, no answer. I then scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks out, yet, here I am once again outside with the door's locked and no one's answering the phone. This is extremely frustrating.

Update: My last review was removed though true. There are roaches, packages get stolen and the office says its not their concern. The new added gem to bestowed upon us by the Mezzo lofts is bounced deposit checks. They took two months to send it out (the max amount of time they could wait legally) and the check bounced. I have reached out 2x a week for the last three weeks. The general response has been voicemails and its not our problem.
