We lived at the Metropolitan for 2 years and it was a really pleasant experience. We needed some maintenance only 2-3 times throughout our stay and they were always very quick to set a date to stop by the apartment and once arrived within 15 minutes of making the call. They even worked with our work schedule so that I could be home when they came to fix our dishwasher. We once accidentally left our pumpkin bread in the oven and left! We called the weekend maintenance number and they were able to turn off the stove for us and prevent any dangerous situation from occurring. We did have a small maintenance fee for that but it was absolutely justified. We were just glad they were so proactive! I’m currently a tenant at the metropolitan in Runnemede, NJ. I have lived here since June 1, 2025. When the weather turned cold, I attempted to turn on the heat. Since then, the average temperature in my apartment has been 63 degrees, with some days going down to 59. I have contacted management at least 6 times, and they have sent maintenance each time. I have been requesting an actual HVAC technician come and try and fix the heat. Each time, I was ignored. The various reasons given, were my windows weren’t locked, so cold air was coming in and the heat can’t work if that is the case, I needed a new thermostat, I needed to wait and let it warm up, a zone valve needed to be replaced, and on and on. I lived in Runnemede Metropolitan for 2 years, and my experience there was truly outstanding. Our property manager, Tiffany, was absolutely top notch. She always went above and beyond—professional, friendly, and quick to address any concern. No matter how big or small the issue, she made sure things were handled promptly and with care, making me feel valued as a resident. The maintenance team, Victor and Russell, were equally exceptional. Whenever I submitted a request, they responded quickly, worked efficiently, and made sure I was completely satisfied before they left. They took pride in their work, and it showed in the quality and attention to detail. I loved living there for the time I was a resident—it was a well-kept, welcoming community where the staff truly cared about the people

I have lived at The Metropolitan Runnemede for many years. I enjoy the quiet environment, private entrance, mail delivery to my door, well cared for grounds and quick maintenance repairs. I would like to give a round of applause and shout of acknowledgement to the maintenance staff, Victor, Russell and Abdul. You consistently show your dedication to our community. The dumpster area is always free of trash and debris. The team is very friendly and will always acknowledge me when they see me. I get a warm friendly hello and asked how I am doing. That small of a gesture goes a long way. The maintenance supervisor always gives me a heads up on when I can expect the repairs to be completed. He not only works behind the scenes but is hands on. Honestly a pretty good place to live! I have a one bedroom and it’s huge with 2 closets. In unit washer/dryer. Super quiet, friendly office staff and maintenance. I always feel like Danielle and Tiffany in the office listen to my concerns and answer my questions quickly and efficiently! Russell and the other maintenance team members are really courteous when coming into your home and I like that they came out quickly when I had concerns about my air conditioner. I have nothing but good things to say about Metropolitan Runnemede! I recommend it to all of my friends looking for their new home!
