The Meridian at 2825

This is the reality of these apartments. Everything keeps breaking because it was poorly made! The closet door has fallen over 4 TIMES. 4 TIMES. Im tired of asking the repair people to come over to repair it when it the screws keep getting loose. My door is loose, the screws fell?! How would that happen if we only lived here for barely a year. I pay over $1,500 a month for this place, and it’s honestly unacceptable. The outlets are loose and unsafe, the door frame and hinges keep breaking, the metal brackets are exposed, and even my shower handle fell off. None of this damage was caused by me, it’s all from poor maintenance and cheap repairs that keep falling apart.For what they charge, this place should be well-maintained and livable , not constantly breaking down. I give them 2 stars because some parts aren’t so bad. but we’ve just been here for 2 months and things are breaking having to constantly ask for the repair people to come here, the closet doors falling because whoever came here to put them up clearly were lazy and didn’t want to do their job. I have a baby and one of the closet doors almost fell on him if it wasn’t for my boyfriend it would’ve smushed him, I have pictures of the damages and everything JUST IN CASE. Oh and btw, my car has been vandalized, and some random guy the other day tried to get into my apartment, I bought cameras for a reason. I would say don’t come here unless you really can’t afford anything else. It isn’t THAT bad, but it’s definitely not worth over 1.5k that they charge every month, and there’s a bunch of creeps

Office staff will steal your money, make sure you have records of payments to this complex. I payed the leasing office with cashiers check when moving out and office staff kept the money to themselves and sent the bill to debt collectors. Unprofessional business and janky employees is what this place offers. I will report to the BBB Update: also have video proof of handing the front desk the cashiers check because they didn’t seem trustworthy and it turns out I was right.

Thanks to the new management, there have been many noticed improvements made to the apartment complex. It is now visually clean, things are being fixed in a timely manner, I feel safe with my family here, and the management lives here which says a lot. She immediately answers her phone if not in the office (even after hours) and has a goal of making Sunrise an actual community of people. I also am very happy with my apartment. The 2 bedroom is the perfect size for my family with enough room for a full living room, dining area, and kitchen.

Nasty, nasty place! I am a veteran, and because I was about to be homeless with my 14 year old son, the veterans helped me NOT to be homeless! They promised bug spray every Wednesday...I have been here 3 months..they never have been here. I keep my house clean..makes me sick! Parents don’t watch their kids..actually have had a couple ask me for money! Then, today, I go to shower for my new job tomorrow..NO water! I have NEVER EVER in my almost 50 years of life had to live like this! The building needs to be destroyed..and the owner needs to suffer for the atrocities he/she has created! Being low income DOES NOT mean that you are a less valuable human being. I would hunt these owners down, if they were man enough to say who they are! I had hoped new management would be available but
