The Meadows at Elk Creek

I enjoyed the 3 years we spent here. It was a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Our apartment was a 2 Bed 1 Bath. For what it is, and for the going rate of other places. They always worked with us. My sister and I always felt like respected and valued tenants. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5. Our apartment had a lot of general wear and tear and it became obvious after staying there for our second year that they did a lot of patch work to cover things up. We always brought this to the landlords attention, and they made sure it wouldn’t be held against us. Beyond that certain things are outdated, and we had an issue with our Air conditioning twice. My last review was 5 years ago and I loved living here. I moved back here a few months ago and never again. The place seems VERY welcoming! HOWEVER, they rather update the flower beds than the actual apartments! I reallyyyyy hope all the other apartments that aren’t “upgraded” don’t look like mine. It’s absolutely mind blowing that it’s $1,400 for a 2 bedroom for this section 8 looking quality appliances, cabinets, etc. my apartment smells like urine since the day I moved in. They offered to clean it again but I don’t want to deal with moving all my furniture.i guess I was lucky enough to get a new washer though! I wasn’t allowed to see my apartment before I signed any paperwork, once I get the keys, I open up my washer to nothing but rust. The outside steps are all rusted. This place ne

The Meadows is amazing. My husband and I lived in Wilmington De at another complex that was truly disgusting. We were only there for 3 months before we started to look elsewhere. Kim and Crysten were Amazing. We moved into our apartment in December and LOVE it. It is very clean and a breath of fresh air. Maintenance is always pleasant and will come almost immediately. The neighbors and very nice and all of the pets are friendly. They really care about their tenants. I would recommend this complex to ANYONE. We will not be leaving anytime soon and already want to renew our lease. Very Professional Clean and Friendly environment

My fiancé have been at this location for around 7 months now & I wanted to wait for the full experience to write a review. This location has been amazing for us. When we first applied we had already been in a different lease with an apartment in the Newark area, which was AWFUL. The team here at meadows were very helpful, understanding, & efficient in helping with our situation at that time. So it was a great first impression! All of the neighbors I’ve come in contact with are always very kind and quick to smile or say hello. The office is always very time efficient, and helpful if there were ever any issues. So I lived here on this property since 2019 now I was kool didn’t have any problems or complaints. We now I fell on their property on January 19 approximately 6:00 I going out to the pharmacy to pick up medicine my dr call in for me. Well that Monday morning I went to their office to file an incident report about happened. I call my primary doctor and also my orthopedic surgeon I have been on worker comp just had surgery on that October 23rd which a rod in my back. With me falling they wasn’t taking any chances. So because of that now really couldn’t go back to work NOPE. Then now my apartment complex ain’t taking any blame either.
