I had a great experience living at CLK, 5115 N Sheridan Road over the past two years. The property is well maintained, comfortable, and truly feels like a place you can call home. What really made my stay exceptional was the maintenance support—especially Darnell. Over my two years here, Darnell consistently went above and beyond. He was always responsive, professional, and genuinely cared about resolving issues the right way, not just quickly. Whether it was a small fix or something more involved, I could always rely on him. His dedication and positive attitude made a huge difference in my day-to-day living experience. I’d also like to acknowledge Trudyann, the property manager, for her professionalism and support. I’ve lived here three years and the staff are always friendly. The standouts are Trudyanne in the management office and then there’s Darnell. While all of the maintenance staff always smile and say hello and seem happy to be here, Darnell is the head maintenance guy, and he goes out of his way to say hello address me by my name with a giant smile. He’s always quick when there’s a maintenance issue, and he’s just a great and kind human. He goes out of his way to be helpful and has been available outside of normal business hours when there was even the smallest issue. These folks make living here awesome.

The staff here is really what makes the building amazing to live in (on top of the amazing location and amenities). Whenever I need anything done in my unit, the process of putting in a ticket is very smooth and easy and the maintenance team is always on top of it. I would like to highlight Darnell, specifically, since he has been extremely helpful with fixing anything that needed attention in my apartment. He has been very consistent with the quality of work he does throughout my first year of living here, and always gets everything done within a day or two. I would like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding work of the building maintenance team, I forget the ask everyone name (they are awesome!) but there is one guys name “ Darnell”, He has consistently gone above and beyond his duties—responding quickly to issues, ensuring everything is in excellent condition, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism. His reliability, attention to detail, and dedication have had a noticeable positive impact on the building and on everyone who works here.

I really love living here, it’s been such an amazing experience so far. I love my apartment and feel at home here. I love having my in-unit W/D and dishwasher, it’s suburb for my mental health and at a good price point. My 1 bedroom is spacious and functional. Any issues are taken care of quickly. Property managers and maintenance are so kind and always say hello, and everyone in the building (from my experience) quietly minds their own business! It’s been awhile since I loved living somewhere like this.
