The Marquis of State Thomas

We’ve lived here for 3 years and genuinely never want to leave. Nikki and Judson are seriously so nice and care so much about the property. Maintenance is always incredible - all of the amenities are sparkling clean. The pool is perfect, dog park is sanitized every day, flowers and landscaping are refreshed often. The crowd is generally young, late 20s to early 30s, without being a loud atmosphere at all. Have never had a single problem with noise. State Thomas is a dream to live in - we walk literally everywhere. The location is insane. You can tell they actually care about the property and tenants. The only downside is when rent increases, but that’s out of their control. Our increase was not bad at all this year and we are so grateful that we are able to stay another year!

These apartments are truly a hidden gem. Kannin and Allie were incredibly sweet and helpful throughout my move-in process, making settling into my new home so much easier. I really appreciate their support!

I had a really good feeling about this place when I first toured. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool is always clean/refreshing. I've lived here for about 7 months now, and have not had a single complaint. I love living here, and I'm very happy with the decision I made on my unit. (Ground floor, high ceilings, dark brown flooring and cabinetry.)

Marquis of State Thomas is a hidden gem in Uptown Dallas. It is accessible to bars, restaurants, groceries stores, The katy trail, and many other places, making it an amazing place to live given its location and walkability. In addition it has great amenities such as pools, hot tub, gym, dog park and a very pretty club house. Staff in the Marquis goes above and beyond to make your experience as comfortable and smooth as possible. For me, I moved during COVID times, I wasn’t able to see the apartment prior renting it, but Judson Watkins, went above and beyond, send me pictures and we were in constant communication, until I decided to rent it. My wife and I lived here for two years and would recommend it to anyone looking in this area. The management team in the leasing office is the best that we have ever dealt with at an apartment. They are very kind people. The maintenance stuff is quick to respond to any issues that come up, including problems late at night. We always felt safe while living at Marquis and never experienced any concerns.
