The Marq Townhomes

The buildings are made from the cheapest possible construction and we were in contact with maintenance all the time. Maintenance was responsive though. You’re also right on the interstate and have addicts wandering through the neighborhood very often, and in our case jiggling our door knob at night. The garage couldn’t actually fit two cars and so we had to park one outside for our whole time there. There is not enough parking, and rather than making more stalls or modifying their policies, the Marq just tows you for parking in front of your own unit. Also, there are roaches in the garage.

I wanted to wait to give my review since we found out Jon was overseeing this property now. Because we knew our move out would be met with retaliation. So we moved here from The Olive after we broke our lease (I have NEVER broken a lease) because ultimately we didnt trust management, Jon. Even after talking to Janae (His manager) we did not feel safe. Upon signing the lease here we met Natalie (At the time) and Jessica. They both were kind and welcoming. Natalie came off honest and fair. We enjoyed living here. We had no real complaints other than the fees that aren’t really explained. Which seems to be a theme in Utah. This has been a great community! From the time I met with Alyssa, the property manager, for a showing of the townhomes to becoming a resident I've been really pleased with The Marq. This is the best property management and maintenance team I've ever rented from! Everything was extremely clean & working well from the time I moved in. The few concerns I had were addressed quickly. I LOVE having an attached garage and the unit layout is spacious, practical, and fresh looking. The people living here are great for me--everyone pretty much keeps to themselves and it's generally pretty quiet. But folks are also quick to help when needed. I have the pleasure of living in a three-bedroom townhome with a rooftop balcony at The Marq, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! We've really enjoyed our time living here. Both units we've rented have been clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The maintenance tech is prompt in addressing any issues, and Alyssa in the office has been fantastic. She made our move-in process very simple and seamless. We love the light from the big windows, but one complaint is none of the windows open on the 1 bedroom units, and only the upstairs windows open on the 3 bedroom units. It would be a nice improvement if they would open to provide some ventilation. Overall, we've had a positive experience. *Edit: the new maintenance tech Jesse does an awesome job. Our garage door was having trouble closing and he fixed it the same day.
