The Mark Austin

I’ve been happy with my time at The Mark Austin. The building is nice, common areas are kept in good shape, and the amenities are solid. It’s also in a really convenient spot, so day-to-day life is pretty easy. The best part has been the staff, especially Tyler. He’s always friendly and welcoming, and he actually goes out of his way to help. Anytime I’ve needed something or had a question, Tyler’s been quick, patient, and easy to talk to. He makes the place feel more well-managed and less stressful, which is honestly what you want where you live. Overall, good experience at The Mark Austin, and Tyler definitely made it better!

Shoutout to Eumin at The Mark ATX for being super helpful, friendly, and professional. From the moment I interacted with her she made everything feel smooth and stress free. She’s great at communicating and answering your questions promptly. You can tell she genuinely cares and goes the extra mile. Definitely a great asset to the team.

This place is a scam. Management mishandles everything and treats residents horribly while charging outrageous rent. They’ll drain every last penny out of you—even after you move out. Say goodbye to your security deposit for things like “chipped paint,” and expect to get hit with another bill for $100+ on top of that. When I signed my lease, I was fed false promises. Over the summer, I had to deal with a situation that should have been resolved quickly, but instead I was passed from manager to manager for days. Each “meeting” was just them telling me to pay a $500 transfer fee, accept a higher rent, or speak to yet another manager for a different “solution.” It was an exhausting cycle with zero resolution. From day one, Anna has been incredibly friendly, approachable, and genuinely supportive. Whether I had questions about leasing, student housing options, or just general information about the community, she was always there with quick, clear, and helpful answers. What really stands out about Anna is her positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond. She never made me feel like I was asking too much, and she always took the time to make sure I felt confident and informed. I had a great experience at the Mark, thanks to the help of Kate Peters. She communicated our options extremely well and went out of her way to provide us with important information. Overall, her character welcomed us to our new home at the Mark.
