The Lowell Apartments - Student Living

I'm not sure where to begin, but I'm finally leaving, and it's a bittersweet feeling. I've created many memories here, and one thing I can say for certain is that I loved this place. I want to sincerely thank Property Manager Ms. Samantha. She actually toured me and my mom and was there from the start and consistently strives to ensure everyone is happy and satisfied. This is my first apartment, and if I weren't graduating, I would stay another year. Don't let negative reviews influence your opinion; she goes above and beyond for us, and it's truly appreciated. I am pleased with the changes that have taken place and the events they've organized. It's been a worthwhile experience!

If I could give 0 stars that would be better suited. Would not recommend anyone live here. If you choose to live here be very careful or you will be charged a small fortune for things that are normal wear and tear in any rental. They have high end appliances too, or so that is what they will charge you for once your lease ends. BEWARE!!!

The only reason there are so many positive reviews for this place is because they offer residents chances to win money if they leave reviews. Now that I’m finally out of this place, I can leave an honest review without worrying about retaliation. I was on the fence about living at The Lowell, and I wish I had listened to my gut. Do not move here. Do not let your kids live here. Do not even visit. There are better and safer options for you or your kids. The amount of gunshots and domestic violence issues are out of control at this location. And don’t even try to call the courtesy officer, because she will not answer. The parking is terrible most nights. The so-called “gate” breaks constantly. The smell of weed is so strong that, most of the time, you have to keep air fresheners all over yo

I've lived at The Lowell Apartments since fall 2021, and my experience has been nothing but positive. As a recent graduate of Columbus State University, living just down the street from campus was incredibly convenient. It made getting to class, studying at the library, and participating in campus events so easy. The community is quiet, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always professional and responsive, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. I’ve really appreciated the amenities and the overall sense of safety and comfort here. I’d definitely recommend The Lowell to students, young professionals, or anyone looking for a great place to live in Columbus.

Be very mindful and careful before moving over here. The maintenance men are about the only good thing I can speak good about they're friendly and very helpful if anything is wrong with your apartment they will come right away to help. The staff in the front office on the other hand are something else , when doing inspections they nick pick about anything little thing to give you a violation so you a have to pay fees. Don't ever leave and have them inspect without you there that's when they really come up with lies. They're favorite one is "That it smell like someone has been smoking". Constantly have water issues where the water is out for hours God forbid you have to get off work and take a shower, brush your teeth, or use the bathroom.
