While I understand that billing errors can occur, the amount charged is approximately 110% higher than my usual monthly rate. MANAGEMENT DOESN’T CARE—Left My Newborn in >84°F Heat The Lory of Tallahassee has been a nightmare: our AC fails repeatedly, management dodges calls and emails, and we’re left miserable in unsafe heat with a newborn. It’s unacceptable, irresponsible, and deeply disappointing. During my pregnancy, I went eight months without working AC. Now, with a newborn, we’re facing the same failure again—indoor temperatures are over 84°F nearly every day. Calls go unanswered; in-person visits end with the same script: “parts are on order.” New managers even said they couldn’t find my prior AC complaints, which is alarming. I have lived here ( the lory ) for 4plus years, like all new places it was awesome pool time was great, the gym hit but very clean. But for the last 2 to 3 years our apartment has been in bad shape from leaks to no hot water. Things have changed at least 8 times now. This new crew maintenance Alex and Eugene they are on point any issue I had they would help as best they could. Hot water heater went out and Alex was at my apartment early and fixed my water heater. Alex has always been very helpful and caring I see both Alex and Eugene out cleaning and checking the property great employees great guys I don't know how to do another review so I am adding to this one so my AC went out today so I contacted Alex on the maintenance team and within the hour he was at the door. This place is downright evil and a scam. The management is hostile and cruel. We went without AC for weeks. Without a working toilet for months. The toilet was leaking sewage and became a health hazard and they did not care. They also stole our security deposit, claimed we wrongfully terminated when we did not. We provided every proper notice within the confines of the law, and they broke laws left right and center. The complex is just dangerous and unsafe and gross. The pool is green and unusable. All the replies on here from the management is a fake smokescreen. Been here for 2,years now and I’ve seen a lot been through a lot changes not good at all with this community. However they are trying and i appreciate the efforts and their assistance . Just giving them some grace to make the changes they need to make for us their community. The maintenance team have been on point with taking care of the request and I appreciate this a lot. The new manager and her team has been very pleasant as well it makes living here again livable. Thank you I pray it continues. I never written a review and I wouldn’t lie . Thank you
