The Laurels at Jacaranda

I recently did a tour at this community, and for a few min I was very confused. I followed my gps, but when I arrived there was no signs that read "The Laurels", but rather they were all marked "10x" I arrived to the leasing office and met with Kira, who was very welcoming and friendly. Providing lots of information for anyone who is thinking to lease at the property. The community is huge, over 20 buildings, and about 20 miles of property make up community. The property is nice, for the most part it is well kept, and clean. The units however do show their age. Inside the apartments most will have slightly outdated appliances, carpeted bedrooms, and from what I learned, most units will not be equipped with a microwave. I have lived here several years and just simply love everything about this place. From the staff to the BEST MAINTENANCE TEAM an apartment could ever ask for. Everyone is so kind and professional, I would and have recommended the Laurels to so many people and sorry the friendships I built with people that had to go for personal reasons. This truly is a safe , clean FABULOUS COMMUNITY!!!

Kali was my leasing agent and she was awesome!! She was very attentive and made sure to answer all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. She made my move in process as stress free as possible. Brent and Seyna were also wonderful and spoke with me a few times over the phone!

The last few months our garbage situation has been getting out of control. I do not understand why I was sold an apartment that has a gate and yet somehow non residents are able to use our property and dump massive amounts of trash. This is disgusting. Also, the gym is completely busted and new equipment is never brought in or repaired. It’s not ok that tenants are paying to use the gym here, but wind up getting a separate gym membership bc we can’t get a basic workout where we live. We are now a community pool for ALL of plantation, and it is getting hard for the residents to enjoy what they are paying for. Trash everywhere, everything broken, valet trash rarely picks up like we pay for, people taking advantage when they don’t live here.. the list goes on. This is not a reflection of

I love living at the Laurels! The whole staff is great here and the facilities management is top notch! If there is ever a problem, it is fixed within hours. They keep the grounds maintained and beautiful. I moved here because of the nature, there are so many large mature trees and a beautiful lake. It is also a safe community with great people. I now understand why they have residents here who have lived here for 10+ years! I have been here for four years myself!
