RUN!!! See photos that were taken upon move in. The Property Manager stated she did a walk through upon move in and that the apartment was ready. I put in a maintenance request for a number of issues even more than pictured here and was informed that they did not have a maintenance technician. The issues with my brand new apartment were not resolved for some time. I should have been told my apartment was not ready for move in. She was then hard to get a hold of for any issue or concern. Office on site but she was not there! In addition, the property manager sent a text a week before March’s rent was due informing us that that we would not be able to split our rent with the flex app as they were updating their portal. Just moved in late September and had a few issues that needed attention when we first arrived, but as soon as I submitted the work order, maintenance showed up right away. So far, everything has been great, there are some cosmetic wear and tear issues but it was built in 1996 so can't expect much. Appliances are very up to date; upon looking at our rental, we asked the property manager if she could remove the white dishwasher to match our other stainless steel appliances and she did, very nice of her to do. Overall, it’s a relatively quiet townhome community, we live behind the playground so my kids are able to play with other kids within our window view. My fiancé actually had to pick out our apartment by himself which worried me because I was unavailable at the time to help with the search.. but he did well! I am very happy here. Great location in town with awesome access to shopping and food, but also nice and quiet in our cul de sac. We love the large backyard for our corgi to run and play, and the neighborhood children have a nice playground area that’s kept up and mulched regularly. I’ve only had to call maintenance twice for minor issues and both were completed by Dusty Star ASAP. No complaints with the property manager either… not much to communicate with them because we truly just haven’t had any problems to where they’ve needed to be contacted, but they are nice and very professional in my opinion.
We lived in these complexes for 2 years straight and would’ve stayed even longer if it weren’t for the military. We only ever needed to put in a maintenance request twice and the issues were always resolved reasonably fast. The property manager there is great and does her best to give back to the small community at the Landings. Also, our move was super easy and communication with the property manager was always easy. Would definitely recommend this property. They even offer valet trash now! Also, if this even matters, the walls in these townhomes are fairly thick, we could never hear our neighbors and everyone in the area is pretty friendly!!
Unbelievably disappointed. Upon move in we had NO smoke detectors, there were piles of garbage in the closets from the "cleaning company", flooring damage, our deck literally swung side to side when stepping on it and has rotting, broken boards. I communicated this to Tiffanie, the property manager and of course promises were made and not kept. The fact we had to clean and take care of the last tenants garbage and mess was not only disgusting but truly unbelievable. It took weeks to get smoke detectors and the deck fixed after more than one maintenance request. They enter your unit without permission or notice and they lie about completing work orders. We have been waiting since the end of September for them to fix our flooring damage from the previous tenant and after looking at our profi
