The Lake House at Martins Landing Apartments

Living at The Lake House at Martins Landing has been one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve ever had. For over two years, we’ve dealt with a leaking hot water faucet in the master bathroom. The issue was never fixed properly—maintenance repeatedly came out to “tighten the faucet” or paint over the damage, but the problem always returned. It’s now progressed to the point where the faucet runs nonstop with hot water, creating excessive heat, humidity, and mold in the bathroom and even into the bedroom, making it difficult to sleep or use the space at all. Entering the bathroom makes both me and my partner feel sick, lightheaded, and it has even started causing respiratory issues and migraines. I am a disabled Veteran, so these circumstances greatly exacerbate my current conditi

The Lake House apartments is one big mess. Inside, outside. Wet carpet after rain, the water goes through the balcony door, the odors is horrible.mold on the baseboards. Nobody cleans the pets station. Neighbor smoking the weed all the time, the smell goes to my house. My neighbor just moved out because her sink in the kitchen just falls down. The swimming pol was never open. Mess under the stairs. Mess on the empty apartment. This is Luxury???

I don’t know where to start with my appreciation. I was having issues with my first unit. Everyone within the staff made sure that I was taken care of Claudia. I can’t thank you enough for going above and beyond For my request, Claudia is very hard-working very active within the community. I see her out handling business every day not only that, but she has taken care of me without hesitation, which is very appreciative in my eyes because you don’t experience that a lot within apartment communities. This is a beautiful community and she is making sure everything is getting done and handled the leasing agents Miss LaDonna. I also appreciate. Update (original posts below): I honestly hate that I have to keep updating this review but it seems to be the only way Lakehouse communicates. The maintenance request system is a joke: I’ve had multiple requests cleared without the problem being resolved with NO contact as to why. Their fix for the water damage in the wall was to patch up the wall and paint over it, so I’m sure that will become an issue again. Now I can’t get the washer fixed and there’s still a leak in the patio. I guess I’m saying do your homework before moving here. The lake view ain’t worth it. Post 2: Hole in bathroom was repaired but never painted, nor did they clean up the mess from the construction. Now, there is a leak behind a wall that is causing mold/fungus to actuay grow out of the wall. No response from off

Angela is the best property manager that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! I have been at this property for 3 years! I saw it turn from slumlords into someone who actually really cares about the residents and the property. People used to leave piles of trash in the dumpsters and I’m breezeways and it’s been clean ever since she got here. Lights that used to be out are now working. Work orders are being completed in a timely manner and noise complaint are taken seriously! The property is a little old fashioned but they all have ample space and are beautiful. The lake sits right on the property and you can even rent kayaks. There are 3 pools on the property that you have to get a keycard to access them though. I will follow Angela anywhere she goes because she makes us all feel like
