60 days prior to my lease ending I was sent a renewal offer that offered me a various amount of lease terms (typical), with the longest term being 15 months at an additional +$74 per month from what I pay now. Of course, the lower the lease term, the higher the lease rate increases, but again, my highest term offered was for 15 months and the lowest increase was an additional $74. Our lease requires 45 days notice of intent to vacate prior to termination, so being that the renewal letter came 60 days prior, I really hadn’t looked into anything at that point, nor did I care to make a decision (I was busy, living). Easy and good customer service. Wish we would have been offered the gift cards as an incentive this year because we pay a substantial more amount for rent then other complexes. I believe if you are a good tenant and do not have any complaints against you, you should be offered the incentives. But the customer service was very nice.
