The Kenmore Los Feliz

If I could give this apartment complex 0 stars I would. The first couple of years I lived there, it was great because it was privately owned and there was a manager living onsite who was on top of every text, email, and call. However once it was sold to the current Management company, RW Selby, EVERYTHING worsened. If you have any issues, don't bother reaching out to management, because you won't find them. There's never anybody at the office, nobody picks up the phone, or answers emails. Sometimes I would have to send over 5 emails pleading for a response, until I got one, which was brief, dismissive, and indifferent. Even when I sent my notice to move out, it took me a couple of weeks, to finally get a response. At one point, over half of the tenants agreed to send a joint email to manag

0 stars tbh. This is honestly one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed in for 3 years. No communication at all from management, termites and ceiling damage in my apartment with no course of action to fix it. Paper thin walls, noisy neighbors with no action taken, and appliances that are always out of order or not functioning. Please live anywhere besides this complex it’s a joke.

If I could give zero stars for the end of my time at the Kenmore, I would. I lived there for two years, and for the final year, it was one problem after another, and the management could not have cared less. The entire building has termites -- and not just in the walls, but crawling around on the rooftop that it took them an extra six months to finish renovating. My apartment always leaked when it rained, and management never did anything, so I used painters tape to block the water coming in myself. When enough residents publicly complained, they had mold inspectors come and the building is filled with it. Not only that -- after promising to share the mold report with me so I could know what was in the air, the building refused to provide that information because they were not obligated.

Would give it zero stars if I could. Worst place I’ve ever rented from. Management is unreliable and never in office. Homeless people come into our building and pull fire alarms at 4 am. Constant graffiti, and when we first moved in their was human vomit outside our door for a week and no one to get an hold of. Avoid this place at all costs

This building’s management is a joke. Leasing office only responds to communications promptly when they can make any money off you. They call themselves a luxury building then have homeless people wandering the building and pulling fire alarms at 3AM. The tenants banded together and sent the property owners a letter/petition with more than a dozen residents signing it, if it gives any indication of resident satisfaction. The building also clearly has termites in most units. I could not recommend avoiding this management team any more.
