Do NOT move here!!! The elevator is CONSTANTLY broken, and the complex/management refuses to take accountability and blames the residents for something that is obviously a technical error. It has been down 5-6 times in 4 months, totaling over 3 weeks. Refuses to make it right, will not offer rent reduction or accommodations, management just responds that she is also injured and has to deal with it too. Aside from the consistently broken elevator- A third party maintenance came into my unit with only one hour notice for a non-urgent repair 24 hours after they said my unit would NOT be entered. Due to the complete lack of notice I did not prepare my apartment for strangers to enter. I specifically asked them to wait until my reactive dog could be put in her kennel to which I received no res

Dear gentle readers, If you’re currently apartment hunting, I wanted to share my experience living here to help you make an informed decision. Elevators: The elevators frequently go out of order. While attempted to do "maintenance repairs", the issue continues to recur, suggesting a larger structural or mechanical problem rather than occasional misuse. At times, residents have been reminded/pointed at regarding elevator etiquette/behavior, though the recurring outages appear to extend beyond simple user error. Noise & Soundproofing: The walls and floors are extremely thin compared to other Austin apartments I’ve lived in. Horizontally, you can hear when your neighbor walk around in the unit and can track where they are walking around by sound, not to mention the wood stretching noises o

My experience so far at the The Johnny has been nothing short of amazing! Tonya in front office has made the transition into my new spot incredibly quick and easy. Like all places there have been minor hiccups, but maintenance has been fast acting and spot on with repairs! The Johnny is also in a great area that has access to many food, coffee and local stores nearby.

I’ve had a great experience living here so far! Tonya on the leasing staff has been so nice and friendly. She really went above and beyond to make the move-in process smooth and welcoming. You can tell she truly cares about the people she’s helping lease at the property, which made me feel very comfortable choosing this apartment. The rooms are spacious, and maintenance has also been very nice and helpful. I have no complaints!

From my first encounter at The Johnny my experience has been bar none one of the best I have ever had when searching for a new apartment. Tonya the property manager guided me through the process and was always available when I had questions. Tonya’s true compassionate spirit made me feel valued and that I belong at The Johnny. I visited multiple other properties but no one treated me the way Ms. Tonya did. I am thankful for my new place. Also, maintenance is fast and efficient - I had a few little things that needed to be fixed in my unit and it was taken care of the same day! I’m loving Hr Johnny!😆
