The Jaxon Apartments

So I moved here in June of 2024 i lived in three apartments before this and this is by far the worst one. I moved in with my boyfriend and there were so many issues with the apartment it looked like they never even fixed it up for tenants to live in the unit. There was a Roach infestation, TRASH EVERYWHERE, screen door in dining room needed to be replaced, Light in closet wouldn’t turn off, Bedroom door needed to be replaced, some of the windows would not open, there were no screens in the bedroom windows. People would stay up partying OUTSIDE until like 5am and there would be dogs barking at 6am . I mean the issues where ENDLESS. They were willing to fix some of the issues like fixing doors and windows. However my overall issues were the fact that the place was so outdated (looked nothing

One star is too much. Do not move here. They don’t do routine maintenance on the units. It’s roach infested. The power always goes out in the area for hours at a time. It’s always issues with the water. Like they have to cut it off due to an always issue. The mailboxes are broken, due to tenants breaking in them, it’s always garbage everywhere. The pool is never open when it is, it’s dirty. There are no good grocery stores in the area. Your animals see not safe here. The maintenance staff steals. It’s always gun shots outside. They make you pay for a broken gate that’s has NEVER worked, they are lying when they say it’s a gated community. You don’t even get a keycard when you move in because the gates don’t work. I lived at The Jaxon Apartments (formerly Sonoma Ridge) for 4 years, and my experience was terrible. The property is poorly maintained and full of issues. During my time there, I dealt with pest infestations, rodents, stray cats, raccoons, and even snakes. My HVAC failed every summer, and my heat failed every winter. The community is advertised as a gated property, but the gate was almost always open and never secure. My final issue — and the reason I moved out — was a family of rodents or raccoons living inside my walls. The constant noise at night made it impossible to sleep or feel comfortable in my own home. Be careful when applying here, they make you pay a deposit after applying even before knowing you’re approved. They’ll Turn you down & keep your deposit. That’s Such a wonderful thing to do when a family is in search of a home. Perfect time to waste your money I must say

HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! Daughter has lived there 2 years: gates NEVER been working but they ALL PAY FOR THIS SERVICE, her neighbors upstairs have 3 dogs (appear to be pit bull like breed) they never take them down to pee so they pee on the balcony and it goes down to her patio furniture/rug/plants - I have video of the roof of her deck TOTALLY STAINED WITH PEE STAINS!!! She’s complained SEVERAL TIMES to the office only to be told they will be given a citation. According to the lease contract, it says that if any complaints, the animal should be removed immediately - NOT!!!
