The Irlo Furnished Studio Suites

I recently stayed at The Irlo Extended Stay Apartments in Orlando and was really impressed! The renovated building looks fantastic—modern, clean, and welcoming. I love the progressive concept of offering both short-term stays and apartment-style living; it really suits a variety of guests. The amenities are well maintained, and despite the mixed demographics of residents and visitors, everything felt safe and comfortable. Juliette, the Front Desk Representative who checked me in, was wonderful—professional, prompt, and genuinely kind. She made the process smooth and pleasant after a long day of travel. This place has been a mess from the start. I called to move a reservation I made back in early October while coming from Canada and was told they switched systems and completely lost my booking. Not a great first impression. If you try and watch Netflix on these TV's, your favorite show better be constantly buffering I was told the internet would be 100–150 Mbps and reliable. That has not been the case at all. It rarely gets over 50 Mbps, and after 7 PM it’s basically unusable. Since their IPTV and Netflix rely on the internet, those go down too. Every complaint gets the same response: “Nothing we can do, the internet is down.” This seems to be the normal situation here. The grounds are gross. They said it was lost due to the system change. While they did eventually accommodate me, it was not a great start. Before arriving, I made it very clear that reliable internet was critical for me. I was told to expect speeds of 100–150 Mbps consistently. Since checking in, I have never seen speeds close to that. Most of the time it struggles to reach 50 Mbps, and after about 7 PM the internet often becomes unusable. Because their IPTV and Netflix depend on the internet, those services also stop working. I don't want to be too negative, but it was still disappointing in overall value of what I thought I'd be getting. The location is great, which is worth being in the area and choosing this as your stay, but there doesn't seem to be an end to the small let downs. Internet is down more often than not, shower doesn't have pressure more often than not, front desk service is not available more often than not. So for all of this I can't really recommend this as a place to enjoy your stay. It almost feels like a death by a thousand cuts for your stay.

I came down from Canada so cautious with my budget, but from the time I entered through the doors, I was impressed from the clerk's on the desk, to lead Roberto, to the manager Shawn - very impressed. Then I went.to my room wow !! What a deal for budget prices. I come from a strong hospitality background - from a bellman to a general manager and almost everything in between so am very opinionated on quality of service. My last position was with Disney to be transfered from Florida to California to manage one of there properties, and only turned down as wife wanted to return to Canada Heard rumours of bug problems - it's Florida!! But the team there were all over it and doing everything to ensure we were not going to regret staying there. Grounds and pool area well looked after, I'm retu
