Customer Reviews
Living at The Harrison for over three years we had a few maintenance requests, and they were always handled promptly and effectively. The staff were very kind, and the office often organized events and contests for children. My experience there was warm and positive. We took good care of the home, and the surroundings were wonderful - two playgrounds nearby, gym, a beautiful green area, and a little river running through the community. For me it was perfect :) The pool parties are something my son and I will remember for a long time! Even during and after we moved out, the management remained responsive and helpful.
I am highly disappointed how management has handled my building flooding and overall handle public health issues. I have complained about mold growing in our bathroom and it dripping into the tub. They never tested the mold to see whether it was safe for me and my two small kids to breathe. They just scraped it off and painted over it, just for the mold to come back a week later. Then over Labor Day weekend, our whole bottom floor of the building is flooding with sewage water. I have reached out over 5 times to both management and regional for the past 10 days, asking what they were going to do to fix the situation. No response and it’s now been. The leasing office staff just gave attitudes and provided no peace of mind. My rental insurance was the only one to give me updates. They were th
I am writing this review to share what I have seen my close friend go through while living at two different Ventura Realty properties. They started out at The Whitney, and while that move-in was honestly a mess with several complications, there were two people there who truly cared. Ashley in the leasing office was a lifesaver and worked incredibly hard to turn the whole situation around. Later in the lease, Rory stepped in as manager and was just as amazing—he was proactive and actually solved the problems instead of just making excuses. Based on their help, we had high hopes for the next move. However, since my friend moved into The Harrison, it has been a completely different (and much worse) story. It feels like all the progress made at the previous property was lost. The biggest issue
It has been heartbreaking to watch what my daughter has dealt with while 8 months pregnant. She has lived at two Venterra Living properties (The Whitney and The Harrison) and both have been a disaster. Despite giving them months of notice to prepare for her move-in, the apartment at The Harrison wasn't even ready. The management has been consistently dishonest and takes zero accountability. Most concerning is the total lack of safety. The security gates at both entrances have been broken the entire time she’s lived here. To make matters worse, an apartment was recently broken into BY SECURITY, and the two security guards who used to patrol have not been seen since that night. It’s terrifying that they don't seem to care about the safety of their residents. Please, if you value your securit
I am a former resident of The Harrison, and my experience ended in one of the most unprofessional and unsafe situations I’ve ever dealt with in housing. From July through October 2025, I reported water intrusion, mold growth, and ventilation issues multiple times. Instead of properly addressing the problem, management painted over active mold, left the unit in hazardous condition, and later deleted maintenance records from my portal. My health declined to the point where I needed urgent care visits, medication, and an inhaler. When I informed management of the conditions and that I was leaving, they later changed my move-out date without my consent, forged a signature not written by me, and even attempted to bill me after acknowledging in writing that I was owed a refund for unused rent.
