The Grove at Cary Park Apartments

Only one star because I can't put a negative 100 this place is the WORSE in the area DO NOT MOVE HERE EVER!!!! Roach infested never fix anything.I had so many problems in my two years there I didn't want to move because of my children's schools but I had to get up out of there. They refused to re pay my deposit for B.S. reasons the Grove is dirty and thirsty and switching management companies every other month won't fix the problem the place needs to be condemned. Wish I could add all the photos of the trauma and drama this place caused and I know im not the only one.My Ceiling fell in because of the hot water heater in the unit above mine it took them months to do something about it. I was constantly asking about extermination because the roaches lived there first and we had to fight for

I lived here for about 5 years and it’s been hell. This place was the worse decision I made and I advise anyone to not move to this place. From the beginning there was issues and still is but the worst is the management. Inconsistent office schedules and they don’t answer the phone or show up to the office at regular scheduled office times. It’s always somebody new and some are not pleasant at all. Something is going on with the water and black stuff is coming out and staining the tubs not to mention the extremely low water pressure. This place is infested with roaches, German roaches and water bugs. There’s also a mold issue and everything is old and out dated. The wood on the cabinets are flacking constantly and the sinks are cracked and stained. They never painted my apartment to begin

When I first found this place I was excited about applying. I love Cary. I started my Application in May. I live almost an hour away and I wasn’t hearing anything. I had to drive up there three separate times because no one was answering the phones, or my emails. The first time I went to turn in my application the leasing agent was irritable. She looked over my application. Started ripping pages out and made me redo it. Said I provided too much information?!?!? I’m in my 40’s I know how to fill out an application. Then someone else came in afterwards. The leasing agent completely ignored my daughter and I and we just had to so there for a LONG time. We love living here at The Grove! We moved here about a year ago when we were in a tough financial transition and found that the staff at The Grove were so helpful in working with us to find a way. There is a real community feel here. There are always kids outside playing. And I feel great sending my kids out to play with them. The neighbors are so kind and helpful. It feels so "neighborly." I have never had that experience in an apartment community before. The community staff work hard to keep the community cohesive. There are several different community activities that happen each month-- movie nights, weekly family meals, street games with the Cary Police, crafts and games with the YMCA. Scandals apartment. If I can give it a zero, I would. Door only open to pay rent on the first but the rest of the month the door is locked from 9 to 4. People in the office ignoring knocking on the door and they admit that they do, because you need to make an appointment. Then they change what they say. Saying they never said or done that and they are just close on that day. If you have to live here I get it. Just know they change new management almost every couple months. They have a history of taking money to.
